I sit on my bed with my nose in a book waiting for noon to arrive.
"Wacha  reading" Red asked curiously
"Monstrous, it's about a girl that was brought back to life by her father but she has to stay hidden because she has giant raven wings, a tail with a spike at the end, cat eyes and claws, and fangs. But her father brought her back to kill a wizard who is terrorizing  the closest city." I replied in one breath "Wow sounds good,  but shouldn't you be getting ready for the carnival?"
"I am ready!" I said gesturing to my outfit
I was wearing skinny jeans, a white tank top with a purple and red floral cardigan, and brown ankle boots. " what about your hair?" She asked "Shit, I completely forgot!" Mt hair was still messing in a towel, I threw the towel across the room and dove into my bathroom . "Oh thank god! My curler is on!" I guess I had turned it on before my shower, but I didn't have time to think about it. I had made my short hair look like it had beachy waves and finished with some hair spray. I grabbed my phone to see I only had 15 minutes to get out the door and to the carnival,  "Bye Red, see you later" I called though I didn't have time to wait for a response. I grabbed my purse and was out the door. I ran down main street to the park to see the biggest thing I've ever seen in our tiny town the carnival.
I saw DJ  waiting by the ticket booth for me "I was about to start thinking you weren't coming." He said almost relived "why wouldn't I come?"
"I don't know, but any way what do you want to do?"
"How about we get some fried oreos!"
"Sounds good to me"
"No it sounds delicious!"
We enjoyed fried oreos, went on a couple of the rides and talked about things like my old school and about Palacios and odd as it is our siblings. It was fun, probably the most fun I've had In a long time.

DJ

"I think we've gone on every ride except the ferris wheel" I said to Liz "well u don't want to leave the last ride in ridden!" She replied
While speeding up, we were soon almost sprinting or the ferris wheel. We got into the small carriage and started moving up. "This is probably the most fun I've ever had at this carnival" I told her as she stared at the bay, "yeah I don't think I've had this much
fun at any of the carnival I've been and I've been to a lot of carnivals" she laughed  Her eyes almost sparkled in the moon light, I hadn't known how much we had in common,  or how much I really liked her. I felt like this was more than a crush, I haven't genuinely liked some one since Cassie, but I think this is real. I think I actually  like her.
