"What's up?" William asked as I put my things away in my locker. I smiled, it has been almost three weeks since I started dating William and my heart still fluttered whenever he is near. "Nothing much, just putting my chemistry books up. Now it is Spanish time," I beamed. "Yikes, anyways lunch, meet me in the court yard" William smirked. "Okay," I light up. "Great, and don't bring Aria. She talks ways to much. It's like 'okay can you just take a breath once in a while," William chuckled then high fived some of his friends as they passed. "Oh, okay," I frowned and Will looked back at me. "Thanks babe," William kissed me on the cheek and ran to go catch up with his friends. I sighed, grabbed my things, and headed for class.

"There you are, I thought you ditched me or something," William said as he laid out-stretched on the grass. "No, the cafeteria line was just long that's all," I smiled and placed my tray down next to him. I looked around, seeing that Will didn't have his lunch again. "You do know you are going to have to eat in front of me sooner or later, right?" I joked and sat down next to him.
"So, my parents and I are going to do some family night thing tonight. I was wondering if you would be interested in joining us," I shyly said. "Family night?" William questioned with a disgusted face. "Yea, well we were thinking about going out somewhere. You know, somewhere fun, and it would give you a chance to meet my parents" I added and Will sat up. "I don't know. Me hanging out with..." He gestured to me, "Your girlfriend" I breathed. "...And her parents, that doesn't seem fun to me. Besides I have something to do tonight already. So let's just drop it" William smiled and gave me a kiss. I sighed and picked at my food. At least I tried.

"So will William be joining us tonight?" My mom cooed. I grabbed my jacket and sighed "No he already had something planned." "Aww that's a shame, your mother and I were looking forward to meeting the kid," Roger chimed in. I looked up at him and smiled, "Well there is always a next time," We gathered our things and headed out to the car. We had many ideas for what to do tonight, some included rollerblading, thrift shopping, or going to an arcade. But we all just agreed on seeing a movie.
The closer we got to the theater, the more excited I got. I don't remember the last time mom and I went out to see a movie. I know I had a hard time with Mom and Roger's marriage at first, but I know now that they truly love each other and I am starting to warm up to him. This family night is a really good opportunity for us to, well, act like one big happy family. When we arrived to the movies mom and I got in line for the refreshments while Roger got our tickets. We are going to see a new romance movie that my mom hasn't stopped talking about.
"Are you excited?!" Mom asked and toothy smiled. "Very, it has been ages since we did something like this... and I am glad we can share it with Roger," I humbly spoke. "Well I am very happy to hear that," Mom hugged me then moved up to a cashier. "Sweetie do you want some popcorn?" My mom asked, and I smiled. "Yup, I am going to go get our seats if you don't need my help," I said. "No, i'm fine. Go get us some good ones," Mom waved me away then went back to ordering our snacks.
I picked the seats that were right in the middle of the theater, my father's favorite spot. Almost immediately Roger walked in and sat down next to me. "I hope you are okay with the movie," He said politely. "Yes, I love romances," I smiled and Roger nodded. "Don't tell anyone, but me too," We both giggled. It only took a few minutes before Mom walked in with our drinks and popcorn. After we all got settled down, the lights turned off and the screen in front of us light up. I cozied up and started to munch on my popcorn.
It was about halfway into the movie when a young couple, who was seated in front of us, started paying less attention to the movie and more to each other. They started kissing, and normally I wouldn't care but they weren't really being quiet about it. I started feeling uncomfortable and looked to my mom who then looked to Roger. Roger quietly whispered for them to keep it down, but they didn't listen. In fact I think they grew louder just to spite him. Roger asked them again to please quiet down, but they really didn't seem to care. Now Roger got mad. He tapped the guy on his shoulder and said "Please refrain from doing that in the middle of our movie, if you don't want to watch then please leave." The guy turned around and his girlfriend pulled away, moving her blonde hair to one side. "Well we aren't going anywhere so if you don't like it then you can leave," he spat as his face was light up from the projector up above us.
No. I froze in shock. He didn't, he wouldn't. He hadn't seen me yet, and I intended to be out of the theater fast enough were he never would. I got up and ran as fast as I could out of the room and went straight into the girls restroom, tears forming in my eyes. No, no, no, no. I started to pace around the bathroom as streams of water covered my face. How could he, It can't. No, no. That wasn't him, it couldn't be. It just couldn't. I rested myself against a wall, slowly falling to the floor. I pulled my knees into my chest and buried my face into my legs. My mind could just explode with all the thoughts that were jumping around in my head. I couldn't even begin to comprehend what just happened. I tried to say a million words but only one came out, "William?"
