"You're just too damn loud, especially when you argue with Hamilton. Jesus, you need to know where boundaries are!" you yelled at the purple-clad man in front of you.

"Says the little prick who oversteps literally ever boundary ever and makes people uncomfortable," Thomas retorted, his arms crossed firmly over his chest.

"That's Hamilton, not me! Are you so blind that you're mistaking me for Hamilton?" you huffed, looking at your brother John for support.

He simply raised his hands in mock surrender. "Not my battle to fight, pequeño luchador. You're on your own. You can't depend on me all the time."

Your eye twitched as you faced your crush once more. That's right- you, Y/N Laurens, had a crush on your enemy-since-forever Thomas Jefferson. His cocky personality and asshole traits made him all the more sexier. And his hair- my god, don't get me started. "I hate you Thomas."

"I hate you too Y/N." He winked at you, making you gag.

"Please, I'm about to start vomiting all over your hideous magenta coat."

   "You wouldn't."

"I will if you don't stop being such an ass."

"Well I'll have you know being an ass is something Hamilton does, not me. 'Are you so blind you're mistaking me from Hamilton?'" he mocked in the most annoying voice ever.

You clenched your fists. "I don't sound like that you entitled bitch! Maybe you and Hamilton are more alike than you care to admit."

Thomas scoffed. "Ha ha. Very funny. Hamilton and I are two very different people."

John gave an exasperated sigh, flinging his hands in the air. "Can you not bring my boyfriend into this? I will tell him you two are insulting him behind his back, and trust me, he won't be happy."

You groaned. "Fine. But that doesn't mean that they're alike is a lie, right?"

"Whatever," John said, annoyance clear in his tone.

"I don't get what you see in Hamilton anyway. It's not like he's anything speci-"

"Don't you dare go there. You're just jealous because you can't get James to love you. He probably hates you too."

A loud slapping noise and a sharp pain in your cheek came after your comment. Thomas slapped me.

"DON'T BRING JAMES INTO THIS!" Thomas yelled, eyes blazing with anger.

"That's it!" John snapped, grabbing Thomas by the collar of his shirt. "You don't touch my little sister." He let go, glaring at the both of you. "I've had it with your quarreling. Both of you, follow me." He stormed off down the hall, and you immediately knew what was coming.

You and Thomas followed him until John shoved the both of you into your bedroom. "You stay in there until you make up or whatever," he said as he locked the door. Footsteps could be heard retreating down the hall, a door slamming, then silence.

You looked at Thomas, who was leisurely sitting in your reading chair like it was his own home. "Don't mess anything up."

"I wouldn't dream of it, darlin'," Thomas replied, flipping through a book. You scoffed and sat on your bed, laying on your back and staring at the ceiling.

   "Hey Y/N?"

   "Hm?"

   "Are you a camera?"

"Um, no. That's a stupid question."

"Because every time I see you I smile." Your head shot up and you saw him giving you a cheeky grin.

   "You little-"

"Ah ah ah. No fighting, remember?"

You rolled your eyes, your face heating up by the second. "Whatever."

"Aw, don't be like that. You know you love me," Thomas said playfully, wiggling his eyebrows. You snorted, rolling your eyes at his antics.

"Oh Y/N~" Thomas said, coming up behind you.

You spun around to face him. "What?!" You were annoyed now, and it was all you could do to not punch him.

Thomas smirked. "Damn, you're hot when you're mad."

You turned so red a tomato would be put to shame. "Asshole."

   "Oh, kinky~"

You turned even redder. "Sh-Shut up."

"Make me."

"Oh, fuck you."

"Gladly."

You groaned. You glared at Thomas with a bitch face, pissed beyond belief. "One more comment and I will kick your ass to the motherfucking sun."

Thomas rolled his eyes. "As if you actually could."

"Bite me."

Before you knew what was happening, a pair of warm lips were on yours. You gladly kissed back, knowing it was Thomas. He slowly pushed you up against the wall, deepening the kiss. Your arms found their way around his neck, his snaking around your waist. You tangled your fingers in his hair, enjoying ever second of this as much as he was.

"You guys okay? It went quiet and I- OH MY GOD WHAT THE-" John slammed the door shut.

You and Thomas pulled apart, grinning at each other as you burst into laughter.

Maybe he's not so bad after all...
