Chapter 19

Lausyn's POV
So apparently there's this girl that Messy Monday posted about and said that she was his girl or something like that. I know Jonas. Jonas wouldn't cheat on me like that... would he?

"Hello?" I heard his voice ring through the microphone of my phone.

"Hey Jonas" I spoke breathlessly.

"Hey babe. What's up?" He asked me.

"Nothing really. Just need to talk to you." I said fast, swallowing the lump in my throat.

"I would love too, but I'm super busy. I'm on vacation at the beach if you didn't see." He spoke fast.

"Oh I saw," I spoke quickly,"I also saw you with that girl."

"Oh gosh L, is this what this is about?" He said harshly,"that's low, Lausyn."

"What? You don't think a girl can wonder? You can't expect me to know everything you do, Jonas. I don't know what you could do. I'm not a mind reader and definitely not someone who tries to make an effort to know each and every thing about a person; to make sure I know where the person is and where that person is going next. I'm not that kind of person, Jonas. Don't expect me to know these things when you don't talk to me." I ranted, tears brimming my eyes because it's been a week or so that I've tried to text him and he left me on read.

"Well, don't jump to conclusions until you know the truth." He shot back.

"Why is this all of a sudden my fault?" I yelped, the tears slipping out of my eyes.

"It was yours in the first place." He spoke angrily and hung up.

"J-Jonas" I choked out but he was gone.

I slowly brought the phone down and locked it.

I tried to text him but the messages wouldn't go through.

He blocked me...

My boyfriend/best friend, Jonas Robert Bridges, blocked me.

I brought my hands up to my face and cried into my hands.

I sobbed for what seemed like hours. I was heartbroken. I've never been spoken to like Jonas just did to me. I'm new to these strange, foreign actions.

All of a sudden, my phone buzzed.

I wiped my tears away and picked up my phone.

'Hunter🌙🌮🤠 wants to FaceTime..'

I swipe and his face soon pops up on the screen.

"He- oh my gosh, what's wrong L?" He quickly changed his mood.

"Jonas and I are fighting at the moment. I feel like I lost him." I said trying to not to cry again.

"Aww. Lausyn. I'm sure he'll come around. He'd be dumb not too. You're an amazing girl and if can't see that, then he's blind." He spoke soft and sweet.

"Thanks Hunter" I smiled.

"There's that smile I missed" he cooed, making me smile again.

We talk for an hour and I decided to go. So he hung up.

"I need to talk to my girl" I whispered to myself and dialed Gabby's number.

She doesn't answer me.

But she does text me.

I don't wanna talk to you

I text back.

What? Why?

Because you're a washed up dumb head who doesn't answer any of my calls when I wanna talk to you.

Gabby, I've been busy with school and you know that.

Oh I know that. I also know that you've been hanging out with Jonas more than you've been hanging out with me.

Gabbs, I never get to see Jonas. He moved, okay?

I don't care anymore. Goodnight Lausyn.

Great. Now I lost my best friend.
