Kankuro x Reader

Kankuro's Pov.

I was currently walking with Gaara and Temari going to Konoha. When we entered Konoha Gaara went off to his Kage meeting and Temari left to go see Shikamaru. That left me alone, so I wandered the town for a while looking for something to do. I soon came across the popular ramen shop Ichiroku, so I walked to get something to eat. When I walked in I saw Naruto having a ramen eating contest with a beautiful (h/c) girl. So far Naruto was winning, no surprise there. I decided not to interrupt so I sat down and ordered. A few minutes later they finished. I saw the girl's head hit the table and she said in a upset yet loud voice,  "Ugh, I lost again." Naruto started laughing and patted her back and said chuckling, "It's okay (y/n), maybe you'll win another time. Naruto noticed me and said loudly, "Hey Kankuro! I didn't notice you there!" The girl turned and looked at me. Her hand shot out and she said, "Hi! I'm (y/n), nice to meet you!" I blushed a bit and shook her hand. She smiled brightly and Naruto started making small talk with me.

(Y/n)'s Pov.

While Naruto and that new guy Kankuro were talking, I sneaked out and started walking around town. Eventually I ended up on the training grounds. I jumped into a tree and sat down on a large branch, as I leaned against the tree I relaxed. Slowly my eyes drooped down,  and closed, the sound of nature lulling me to sleep.

Kankuro's Pov.

Naruto had to go traim with his team, and I decided to tag along with him. As he was training I found a big tree to lean against. As I sat down on the ground , I heard a soft snoring coming from above me. I looked up to see the same girl from the ramen shop asleep on a large branch. I chuckled to myself,  shaking my head a bit. I climbed up the tree and sat next to her. She looked kinda cute asleep. A laid my head on her shoulder and slowly fell asleep. A little while later,  I woke up on her shoulder, she was still sound asleep, softly snoring. I smiled to myself. A few minutes later she started to stir, and started to wake up. She let out a quiet yawn. She opened her eyes and looked up at me, she gave my a small smile. Suddenly we heard a shout below us, "Just kiss already!" It was, of course, Naruto, he obviously saw what happened. I saw out of the corner of my eye, a heavy blush on (y/n)'s face. I started to feel my cheeks heat up also. I kissed (y/n) on the forehead and jumped off of the branch and ran off. I went to the inn that I was staying at with Gaara and Temari. When I got there both of them were sitting around relaxing, but staring at me weirdly. Temari laughed started laughing and Gaara asked me, "Why are you blushing and panting?" I yelled, "I'm not blushing!" Temari stifled her laugh and said, "Yeah you are, did you kiss a girl or something?" I could feel my cheeks and ears get hotter. Temari burst out laughing again and in between laughs said, "You did, didn't you?" Gaara just shook his head. Temari finally stopped laughing and asked, "Who?" I muttered under my breath,"(y/n)." Gaara put a hand on my shoulder and said, "Go for it." Temari immediately shot him down saying,"She's one of the prettiest girls in the village, there's no way you could get a girl like her." She sounded like she was taunting me. I jumped up from my seat and yelled, "You'll see! I'm going to go out with her! Just watch!" With that I ran out the door and back to the training field. When I reached the field I saw (y/n) sparring with Naruto, I walked up to them. As I approached (y/n) and Naruto stopped and looked at me. (Y/n) started to blush a bit and Naruto asked me, "What are you doing back here Kankuro?" I looked at (y/n) and started sputtering out nonsense. I finally managed to look at her, and said a bit to loudly, "Will you go out with me (y/n)!?" She started blushing really hard and looked like she wasn't sure what to say. Naruto started laughing at this so I started yelling at him.

*(y/n)'s Pov.*

I didn't know what to saw when he asked me out. When Kankuro started yelling at Naruto, I got an idea. I walked over to Kankuro, he hadn't noticed me yet. I put my hand on his cheek and kissed him on the lips, that shut him up really fast. Slowly he started to kiss back. Before we could continue Naruto yelled, "Go (y/n)!" I pulled away and looked at the ground, and I could feel my cheeks heating up. Kankuro put my hand in his and said, "Why don't we go get some ramen." I smiled at him and nodded my head, walking with him to Ichiraku.

*Third Person Pov.*

In a tree sat Temari and Gaara, who had watched this whole ordeal. Gaara cracked a small smile and said, "I knew she would say yes."
