Ula was taking a walk on her own, having left her dog with Riza who somehow maaged to calm Lexi down, allowing the two dogs to actually play. She had no idea how Riza made Lexi behave, but she figured she'd enjoy her time alone. "This must be what it's like for moms when they finally have a break from a crazy kid," Ula mumbled.

As she was walking she saw a tall man. He had darkskin and white hair. Just like her. He also wore sunglasses, as she did right now, even though the sun wasn't out. She had removed the colored contacts, and traded them for glasses for her little walk. As she got closer, standing beside him to wait for cars to stop so she could cross the road, she got a better look at him. When she did, her eyes went wide. She began to step back, feeling for the gun she was given when joining the military, or her gloves. The man looked at her, an angry look on his face. "Is there a problem?" he asked. "You... It was you..." He narrowed his eyes. "What're you going on about?" he asked. "You killed the Rockbells in Ishval... You've been killing state aclhemists... It was you," she said, continuing to back away as he stepped closer. She had clearly angered him. He suddenly lunged for her, and she barely dodged him. She ran into an alley, hoping it'd come out onto another street. However, it was too dark to tell before she ran into it.

Sadly, she came up on a dead end, looking frantically for an escape. "How do you know about those doctors? About anything I did in Ishval?" he snapped. At this question, Ula felt some of her fear fade. A smile creeped onto her face, and a small laugh escaped her lips. "Is this funny to you?" he snapped, getting closer as if he'd escape. "I'm not afraid.. You wouldn't kill another Ishvalan now, would you?" she asked. "Excuse me?" he said. Ula's smile grew and she removed the glasses. "Well, would you?" she asked.

"I can't believe you'd join these Amestrians." "Well at least I'm helping, not causing more damage," she replied calmly, her smile leaving, replaced by a much more serious expression on her face.

"What're you saying? These people have stray-" Ula shook her head, laying her head in her hand. "Please, spare me the 'God's path' crap." "How dare-" "No, how dare you. You claim to believe in God, and that the state alchemists have strayed from his path, but what're you doing differently?! Many of the state alchemists you're after weren't even taking part in the war! Those are innocent lives you've taken!" Ula snapped. "No-" "And I find it foolish to use God's name in such a way. I don't understand why everyone had such faith in him anyways. When we needed him most, nothing happened to save 'his people.'" Scar grew irritated. "Just as they took many of our people's lives, you're taking other's lives, taking them away from loved ones, and for what?! Revenge?! That does nothing but anger people more, and it causes more damage! I doubt your God would be very happy about a murderer throwing his name around left and right!" Ula screamed.

"Shut your mouth!" Scar said angrily. "At least by joining the military, I can change something without taking people's lives who don't deserve to die! People who were living life happily, who had someone to go home to!" "They took away my loved ones, why shouldn't they get the same?! Alchemists believe in Equivalent Exchange, do they not?!" "Yes, we do, but we don't believe in taking people's lives!! I'm just as angry about what they did, do you honestly think you're the only one who lost someone they loved?! I lost the only family I had, and I lost my arm, don't you dare act as if you're the only one who's lost someone close to them!" Scar got closer to Ula, who pressed her body against the wall behind her, although she seemed anything but scared.

"At least I don't cause suffering just because of mine, it won't make you feel better! You want to know something Scar? Those doctors you killed saved lives. They saved many Ishvalan lives, including mine and yours! They had a daughter to go home to, and you just killed them because what? They were Amestrian like the other soldiers?!"

Scar lunged for her, his right hand ready to strike her.

However, she grabbed his hand with her left, squeezing his hand in an attempt to break it. "You don't listen well, do you?" Ula asked through gritted teeth.

Scar moved back, looking her up and down. "You're also quite the hypocrite. Using alchemy to get rid of alchemists. And you talk about straying from God's path," Ula said.

Scar attacked again, but this gave Ula an escape route. She quickly ducked, running in a crouched position to get out of the alleyway. He destroyed the ground beneath her feet, causing her to trip and fall to the ground just outside the alleyway. However, she quickly got back on her feet as Roy's unit ran up, Hayate and Lexi at Lietuenant Hawkeye's heels. When Lexi realizes someone attacked her owner, she starts growling, nearly taking a few people out as she ran to her owner's side. Soon enough, when Scar is coming out of the alleyway to attack her again, the Saint Bernard nearly attacks, only to have her collar grabed by Ula.

"Down Lexi," she ordered. Thanks to Riza, Lexi sat beside her owner calmly. "What happened?!" Roy ordered. "I obviously made him very mad," Ula mumbled. Roy sighed. She needed to stop hanging out with Edward in Roy's opinion.

Ula then gave a quick explanation of the actual situation. Riza and the rest of Roy's unit had their guns raised, aiming for Scar. However, before anyone could shoot at him, he got away, making Roy irritated.

When he turned to Ula, her head was down, and she was turned away from them. He saw her hands in fists, shaking where she had them clenched so tight. "hey, it's alright," Roy said. "You couldn't have done much without a weapon," he said reasurringly. She merely nodded, keeping her head turned away from them, keeping it down. Ed and Al ran up as Roy opened his mouth to speak again. Both ran up to Ula to see if she was alright, to which she just replied with a nod. She didn't say much after that other than explaining what ocurred to anyone who asked, keeping her head down. After that, she left...
