An Inside Look to Everything

It was almost like I predicted the future. For the next week of school he would only come by at night to suck my blood then he would leave. It was almost like he was taking advantage of me... Some nights he wouldn’t even talk to  me. When Friday finally rolled along I was growing a little lonely so I decided to take another walk in the forest hopefully to see Leshy and Faolan. I put on a tan short trench coat with a matching hat and scarf I knitted myself. I took my time enjoying the crisp smell of outside. Today was extra cold since it was already November and not to mention cloudy. I took a seat on the same rock waiting for them to notice me. A gust of wind turned me to the left. Standing there was Leshy tall, tanned, and handsome. His smile was soft touching his eyes in a very gentle manner. He walked over to me and grabbed a tall branch above him.

“Hello Felix.” I bowed my head slightly, acknowledging his presence.

“Why do you bow? Isn’t bowing apart of Asian culture?” I nodded my head and giggled at his confusion.

“Yes it is.”

“You don’t look Asian.”

“I watch a lot of K-Dramas.” Leshy stared back at me like I was speaking chinese!

“Do you know what t.v. is?” Lesh nodded.

“The magical box with moving pictures right?” This was really funny.

“It’s not magic. It’s electricity and us humans watch t.v. for entertainment when we’re bored. There are many different kinds of shows you can watch and one of them is K-Dramas. They’re dramas from Korea.” Leshy nodded as if he understood but I knew he was still entirely confused.

“Where is he?” Leshy asked bitterly. I knew who he was referring to.

“I have no idea.” Leshy stood up stretching his tall limbs. He took my hand and helped me up off the rock.

“Come, I want to show you my home.”

“Where’s Faolan?” I asked curiously I was looking forward to seeing him too. Leshy’s expression fell for a little bit.

“He went out.”

“To where?” Leshy clenched his jaw together. I could tell he was recalling something that upset him.

“To my brother’s forest.” He almost spat out the words. I didn’t question it any further. Leshy has a brother? I wonder what he looks like... Before I was aware of what was going on I was in the air. Tall tree roots carried us all the way to the center of the forest. A absolutely huge old tree stood tall, it’s branches stretching down and forming almost a door into a small cave next to it. Leshy held out a hand and helped me down off the roots. We walked to the doorway created by roots and pushed through a line of beautiful beads hanging down from the arch. The stone cave worked as a entry way almost; surprisingly it was rather warm in there. I took off my shoes, coat, scarf, and hat. Leshy was as giddy as a kid before Christmas. He motioned me to follow him and after we made through another line of beads I almost fainted. His home was the inside of the tree. I looked up and the house continued to the very top of the tree. He lead me down a long spiral staircase carved into the side of the tree. Large windows let natural light envelope the space. Because the tree was so huge he occupied the roots as hallways. Appliances were created completely of natural materials. The uttermost bottom level looked like it was more of a lounge area, it was almost like a huge hotel made from a tree. He pulled me over to a wooden makeshift elevator it resembled a hot air balloon basket. It worked by a pulley system. Leshy closed the door behind us and tugged on the large rope moving us up by his own upper arm strength. We reached the level he wanted and tied the rope on a hook next to the door. He got out first.
