The next day passed by rather slowly. Time always seemed to drag on when I was looking forward to something. I did however get a call from my old friend Lamora. She will be coming to visit me next week! For the first time in three years they called off school just for the Holiday. I got up early and cooked my parents breakfast. They rushed off in their normal haste, leaving me again alone in the house. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I tossed and turned in my bed until I decided to ignore my drowsiness. Today, I meet him. Why does it have to be so shady? Why can't he just meet me now? Maybe he really is just some.... Creep. I'll be prepared if that's the case. I tried to occupy myself watching some anime but, even that couldn't take my mind off what was going to happen tonight. I was trying to concentrate on my algebra homework when I heard a noise come from upstairs. Vicktor? I felt my blood surge. Some small unknown emotion lurked in the depths of me. Is it fear? I started up the stairs and the noise suddenly stopped. I ran the rest of the stairs and barged into my room. The french doors that lead out onto my balcony were open and the curtains blew into my face as I ran out on to it. I gripped the rail and looked for any glimpse of him. A rustling in the woods caught my attention. Without wasting a second I flung my head in that direction. Again, I only caught a glimpse of long, light blond hair. I buried my face into my hands. Why won't he just meet me now? My brows formed a crease. Why do I want to meet him? Ugh! I'm so confused! When I went back in my room another letter was placed neatly on my dresser. No doubting, that was him. I suddenly grew angry. What the hell?! This man has been breaking into my house! Why on earth do i want to meet him? I should call the cops. I opened the letter and flushed crimson.

My entire being longs to meet you. I couldn't help myself.

Until tonight,

~Vicktor

He signed his whole name this time. My heart fluttered. Why am I reacting this way? It's just a letter. I threw the letter on my bed and fell lightly down. As the comfy mattress consumed me and I drifted into a light slumber.

I woke up to my cell phone ringing.

"Hello?" I grumbled sleepily.

"Felix! Did you decorate the doorway? There are people already walking around." Squealed my mother.

"Oh crap! What time is it?"

"Five. Hurry up! Don't forget to play the graveyard music. It's in with the decorations."

I rushed down stairs into the basement where the decorations were stacked neatly according to which holiday they accommodated. With only a couple minutes to spare I finished decorating the porch, door, and entryway before I got our first trick or treater. after a couple hours of passing out candy we ran out. I had to drive to Walmart again to pick up another three bags. I pulled up to my driveway and noticed a large group of teenage boys messing with the face graveyard.

“Hey stop messing with that.”

The whole group turned around almost in unison. The first person I noticed was Tyler. He was in the back of the group just behind Andrew.

“Hey faggot. Nice costume.”

They all erupted into laughter.

“Get the fuck out of my yard.”

I tried to control my anger but I wasn't doing a very good job. Andrew walked towards me. I stumbled backwards until I grazed my car. He took my shirt in his fist and pulled me uncomfortably close to his face. I turned my face away from his.

“Hey you think I’m gonna’ kiss you faggot?”

I straightened my neck and our faces were even closer. He raised an eyebrow at me and spat directly into his asshole face. He instantly released his grip on my shirt  Everyone circled around me.
