Some things of the past are turning up again

Thankfully we left on Tuesday, cause when I woke up it was already 01.00 pm.

'Good morning honey, 'he said when he opened his eyes.

'Good morning??? No, you mean good afternoon, cause we're 01.00 pm, 'I said.

'What???? Are you serious?? Did we really slept that long ?'he asked.

'Yes, I really mean that, 'I said.

'Thankfully we don't have to drive that long this time and that we already packed a few things.

I'm gonna take a quick shower and then I'm gonna help the boys wit loading in, 'he said.

'Ok, you do that. And in the meantime I'm gonna see what our kids are doing, 'I said.

And when I came downstairs I saw, to my big surprise, that Nicky and the kids were sitting on the kitchen table and they were drawing and colouring.

'Wow, those are very beautiful draws. For who are you making them ?'I asked them.

'For you, Måns and the boys, so that you 'll never forget us, 'said the Dutch Sophie.

Yes, she really wasn't amused by the fact that she and her brother weren't allowed to coming with us.

'Forgetting you??? My dear Sophie, that's never gonna happen, 'I said to her.

'And we even have a surprise for the two of you, 'said Måns to her and Tommy.

He just came straight from under shower , even his hair was still wet.

'Oh really and that is? 'asked Tommy.

'That you and your sister are coming to Sweden next year, for two weeks in the summer vacation, ' I said.

'What??? That's something that mum and dad will never approve off, 'said the Dutch Sophie.

'Yes, cause we're already asked them and they approved it. And they are coming with you, 'said Måns.

'Nice. And Gran and Melody and Chantal?? What about them?? 'asked Tommy.

'They are invited too, so, 'I said.

'So, if you want to excuse me, I'm gonna help the boys with loading our equipment in the bus. Otherwise we have to do that tomorrow, 'said Måns.

'No, I think that we still have some work to do too, 'said Nicky.

'Yes, packing in and cleaning up, 'I said.

'Ok, have fun, 'he said and quickly stole a kiss.

Hehe, very funny. Cleaning up and packing in, where's the fun in that? But it needs to be done.

'Ok, let's see. Cause, what is ours and what is Nicky's? 'I asked our kids.

'I think that most of this stuff is from our gran, she always label her stuff. She always finds that kinda handy when we're on vacation, 'said Chantal.

'Oh really? Well, maybe I have to start with doing that too, 'I said.

And thanks to that trick everything was sooner done.

'I think that we have everything , only your clothes. Do you already know what you want to wear tomorrow ? Or it doesn't matter ?'I asked our kids.

'No, you may choose our outfits, 'they both said.

Ok, that was easy. But, now finding an outfit for that husband of mine. Was it that difficult to just wear a jeans and a t-shirt??? We're just sitting on the bus.
