I sit in study hall working on some homework I know I won't get to. I have a doctor appointment today to get an ultrasound, and my mom and sister are going with me. Alex really wants to, but he has practice. After he got in a fight with that kid, Jack, his coach has been on his case about everything. So, I told him he needs to go to get on the coaches good side. I glance up to see Chris take a seat in front of me, and I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Shouldn't you been in class right now?" He shrugs watching me finish the sentence I am finishing writing. "What's up?" I ask giving him my full attention.

"So, I want to ask Nini out." I squeal in excitement. He ignores me continuing what he wants to say. "I don't know how though, and I want to do it soon." I just watch him nervously run an hand through his hair as I grin like a crazy person.

"All you got to do is sit down with her and talk to her. You know before it's too late, and one of you just stops talking to the other for no reason." Chris raises an eyebrow at home.

"And, you have gone through this?"

"Eh, but stop we are talking about your love life."

"What do you mean eh?"

"Ugh," I groan. "I stopped talking to Alex for no reason whatsoever. Somehow he came out and confronted me, but we all know Nini won't do that."

"Okay, I didn't mean to poke the beast." He raises his hands in surrender. I sigh looking back down to my work. "So I should just sit down and talk to her?"

"Yup." I chirp looking up to him. He smiles at me nodding his head as he thinks about it. His eyes show hesitation making me sigh. "Chris, if you want her, go get her." I flat out tell him.

"You're right." He smiles. He stands up groaning as he checks the time on his phone. "I got to go back to class. See you later." He walks off, and I start back on my work. I smile knowing my friends will be together soon, and will stop coming to me about their doubts on each other's feelings.

We walk home all smiling as I look back to the ultrasound picture in my hands. I smile at my little baby that is growing inside me. I stop as two strong arms wrap around me, and a kiss is placed on my neck. "Is that our little bean?" Alex asks excitedly. I smile glancing to his face that is lit up with totally happiness.

"Oh Alex you should have seen it!" Kait exclaims. Alex lets me go looking to my sister, who feels like she just witnessed the best thing in the world. My mom smiles at her looking to Alex as she shuts the door.

"I wish I was there, kiddo." Alex sighs. Kait shrugs before she heads to the kitchen. She mutters something about getting food before she dies.

"Alex, don't be hard on yourself for it. There will be more ultrasounds." My mom says patting his shoulder as she walks by. Alex lets out a breath, and I can see him still downing himself. I turn towards him and wrap my arms around him in a hug. He hugs me back burying his head in the crook of my neck.

"Hey, our little bean is healthy. Alex please don't worry." I plead not wanting him to feel bad.

"But I missed the appointment." He mumbles against my skin. I sigh resting my head against his.

"Alex, it is totally fine. You will be there for the next one, and every appointment after that." I tell him. He pulls back, and looks to me analyzing my eyes with his.

"What if I have practice?"

"I made the next one early, so we will just go into school late." I tell him. He grins at me kissing my lips.

"So, I get to see our little bean." He smiles placing a hand on my lower stomach. I smile kissing his cheek, which makes him look to me. His lips meet mine, and I can feel his smile on them.

"Okay you two. That's enough." I hear my dad clear his throat. We jump apart looking to my dad.  He stares Alex down before looking to me grinning. "Can I see the ultrasound picture?" I grin back nodding my head. I give him the picture, which he takes eagerly.

"Alex, your family is coming over for dinner tonight." My mom says slipping pass us to walk upstairs.

"What time?" I ask, which stops her on the stairs.

"They will be here in an hour." She says as she starts walking again.

"What the hell are we going to be eating?" My dad asks walking up after her, but not before giving me the picture back. I shake my head heading to the kitchen. I feel Alex follow me until we are in the room alone. His arms are suddenly around me, and turn me to face him. His lips then are on mine in a second making me melt. My legs turn to jello making me grip onto Alex's biceps. My eyes close as the kiss fills with passion. Our lips move together perfectly as they claim each other's. His tongue licks my bottom lip wanting entry, which I hesitate to grant. Everyone is home! If someone walks in we would be dead.

Being in his arms, though, and having his lips on mine my mind becomes cloudy. Hearing footsteps come closer I force us to pull apart, and I open the fridge to grab a water. I hear Alex chuckle behind me, I shut the fridge shooting him a glare as I open the water bottle. "Thirsty?" He asks. My eyes widen at his question making him laugh harder. "You are so red right now." He grins. I groan turning around, taking a sip of my water.

"Kids, why don't you go outside and do something?" My mom says walking into the kitchen.

"Tony, Kait lets go play a game." Alex says loudly, which gets them to come running.

"What are we playing?" Tony asks excitedly. I turn around to watch them. Alex grins at him, and looks to Kait too.

"What do you want to play?"

"Soccer!" They cheer. Alex laughs nodding his head.

"Then lets go." He turns around to watch them run into the backyard. I he looks to me, and grins.

"Can I play?" I ask. He frowns at me shaking his head. He walks up to me, and caresses my face.

"I'm sorry, Bee. I don't want you playing. We can't have you getting hurt, and something happening." I frown at him. He gives me a pointed look making me sigh.

"Okay, just don't go to hard on them." I warn him. He grins at me kissing my lips quick.

"I know what to do." With that he runs out. I feel my mom come stand next to me as she laughs.

"He is just like his father." I look to her raising an eyebrow. "Don't look so surprised. Same with your father, except he barely changed." I laugh at that.
