Chapter 21 - False Hope

Naeun POV

It’s almost 8am so I rushed out of the dorm to attend my first class for today.

“Naeun!”

It was Woohyun oppa. Aaah…his bright smile shines through my eyes. He’s still that person that made my heart fluttered for the first time. ^^

“Oppa!” I smiled back.

It’s so nice meeting him almost every day.

“Woah. You look great today.”

“Well you’re way more handsome than yesterday!” I chuckled.

“Oh…you’re learning how to flatter me eh?”

“I learned it from you! Hehe. Where are the other guys?”

“They’re...”

He was cut off by Dongwoo oppa who just got out and brightly greeted me.

“Good morning Naeun!”

I just waved back and smiled brightly. The other guys kept coming out the dorm one by one until Sungyeol oppa’s out. Oh no… Why is he looking at me furiously? Eeeeh… Somebody tell me why?

I gulped. Maybe it’s because he was left alone last night. I looked the other way around and caught Myungsoo oppa staring at me but then he flinched immediately. Omo! How am I supposed to handle this entire situation? O.o

“Oh? Hi Naeun.” Sunggyu oppa came out last and greeted me.

“Hmm…I think we’re all set here. Let’s go.” He then said.

But then I noticed that Sungjong and Hoya oppa aren’t around.

“But oppa, Sungjong and Hoya oppa’s not out yet.”

“Aaah…Sungjong already head out to school first while Hoya’s not coming with us today since he caught a cold.” Woohyun oppa answered in return.

“Yeah! So if we’re ready, let’s g-“ Sunggyu oppa suddenly paused and looked shock.

Oh? He’s looking at my direction. O.o

“Hi guys!” Jieun unni came out the dorm and greeted us with a bright smile on.

Right! I forgot. Jieun unni will be going to school today after for a month break from studies.

“Oh! Unni… I forgot to-“

“Noona! It’s nice to see you back!” Sungyeol oppa cheered up.

“Woah. Your debut was amazing noona! Congratulations!” Myungsoo finally spoke up.

Then his eyes accidentally caught mine but he didn’t flinch this time. He smiled at me and I just smiled back too. I suddenly felt my cheeks warmed up. ^^

“Thanks!” Unni thanked him.

But he’s still staring at me with a smile on. Omo! Should I look away? Aaah…I can’t! What’s wrong with me?! It’s just like how we first met in front of the bathroom. There’s this magnetic pull thing. ^^

“I think this deserves a congratulatory party tonight! Hyung how’s that?” Dongwoo oppa suggested.

Now, I tried to look away. I succeeded but I really can’t help myself. I’m still craving to see his smile. I peeked back at him but he’s now paying attention at the conversation so I did the same.

“Oh that sounds nice but we can’t stay out so let’s have it in our dorm. It’ll be my treat!” Sunggyu oppa agreed.

“No oppa! It’ll be my treat. It’s my debut after all.”
