Malec oneshots <3

Working

Magnus had to work a lot lately. Most of the time Alec would just read by the fire. In the past week there have hardly been any hunts. The demonic activity was low. Alec had gotten through six books already this week. Alec went to bed everyday before Magnus and woke up after him. Alec only saw Magnus for small spaces of times this week. Alec was sitting in front of the fire and was reading a book under a blanket. It was nearly eleven o'clock at night when he finished his coffee and went to make more. He made two cups and took one to Magnus' study. He knocked before he opens the door and stepped inside.

Magnus sat at his desk where papers were scattered everywhere. He didn't have any makeup on and there were dark circles under his eyes. His hair stuck up at all angles and he looked quite pale. Alec hated to see Magnus like this but nothing he said made Magnus stop work and go to bed.
"Magnus, I bought coffee."
"Oh Alexander, thanks." Alec set the coffee down on the little space he could find on the desk.
"Magnus, come to bed your exhausted."
"I'm almost done, I'll be ten minutes."
"You've said that for the last week. Please Magnus I hate seeing you like this."
Magnus looked up from his desk, his yellow cat eyes looking darker than usual. "I'm sorry Alexander, I didn't realise I was worrying you I'm just really busy."
Alec sighed, "I know Magnus but you need sleep, and I need you."
Magnus looped his fingers into Alec's beltloops and pulled him closer. Magnus stood up and kissed Alec. They pulled apart and Alec took Magnus' hand. "Come to bed please?" Alec whispered.
"Okay."
Alec pulled Magnus toward their bedroom without looking away from him. They undressed and crawled into bed, "You better still be here when I wake up Magnus."
Magnus snuggled into Alec's chest and Alec wrapped his arms around him for the first time in what felt like years.
"I promise I'll be hear."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
