It had been almost three years exact when the battle between the Avengers and Ultron had ended. Chaos erupted all over the world, even within the countries that were not affected directly. Humanity had changed its perspective as a majority on the Avengers, and the new conduct for the Avengers was implemented.
Ultron was defeated, yes. But if it weren't for the famous legionnaire Tony Stark, and his obsession for power and peace enforced by metal, Ultron wouldn't have existed. Or even let alone attempted - but fail - to rid Humanity to the point of extinction.
Where his remains were, no one knew, not even the creator himself. But one thing for sure is that it will be found. Because if it's on Earth, it's still there.
