The highly damaged robot layed on the metal bench where her, was current project, was sitting before which was now packed away. And probably never focused on again. It was a project phase anyway. But there the robot layed, and there she stood claiming that is wasn't real, it was just a dream. No, Danika, it wasn't a dream.

"Holy shit." She grinned. Her Mum would have scold her after hearing her swear, but luckily she wasn't or it'd be boot camp all over again.

It looked terrifying, Danika admitted. In its drastic condition, and probably in factory condition too. What type of metal was it composed of even? The tech, the hard drives, the motherboards. All of the content within would be expensive, because Danika herself knew, even though she had never met him in person, that Tony Stark would only demand the best materials Earth can supply.

She scurried to her computer desk where a long cable sat neatly. She grabbed it, ran back to the robot and looked for an area where an input could be placed.

Except that she couldn't find one. After a while of looking, on all the surface areas she was able to reach, she huffed and gave up.

"Damn it!" She yelled, and threw the cable to the ground. She looked at the time, it was 5:18 pm. Not long before the estimated hour goes off for her Mum to arrive. Danika wanted at least some progress with the robot before she surprised her Mum. To get it functioning, to get the A.I. responding and working. She'd probably need to calibrate the system and get materials to rebuild it, which would mean going into her entire life savings.

That was saved for University and only the prestigious for mechanical engineering. If she decided to get off her lazy arse.

On the torso, displayed was a latch that almost blended in with the metal around it. She pulled the latch and an area of the chest opened up, revealing something Danika had never seen before.

A funny looking core. With a gaping chunk missing from it.

"Shit." She said as she realised what this was. The computer of the robot. And she had never dealt with one in the form of a core. But then again it was STARK technology. She should've predicted this at some point because the man was discovering new forms to format everything these days. Juggling that and his avenger job, and parties... so many parties.

"Now how are you supposed to be useful?" She questioned, expecting it to talk back. And she was actually hoping that it would.

But no it didn't.

An idea popped into her head, and she clicked her fingers of the final decision that would definitely be beneficial.

Trey Gordan.

A fellow friend of hers who was also interested in mechanical engineering, robots, mostly artificial intelligence work. But unlike Danika, he worked for a company who helped produce components for Tony Stark.

And he could probably sneak an a.i. core for her.

Whilst the seemingly brilliant plan was being conjured in her mind, Danika began finding a box, compartment, or even a place to put the robot in. She won't show her Mum yet, but she will eventually.

...Once she gets the robot to talk.
