Sooner at night, Dialgia stood up from her bed and opened her door. She silently walked north once again, only thinking of one place to go. Past the cafeteria Dialgia walked, ignoring the distant sound of footsteps. She stopped in her tracks when she was before a door at the bottom of the Airwing. It was guarded by something merely a person. It was a thought, a song, a memory.
And though you don't know
What lies ahead,
What or who do you most dread?
Who have you come here for?
Maybe if you answer,
You won't tremble like those who've entered.
Dialgia was already thinking what would she be afraid of. Surely if her sister Verdana was the greatest hero of all, only one can kill her. That snake, no.
The boy.
It was who everyone would and should be afraid of. Names appearef in Dialgia's mind. She wanted to see her parents, and Verdana, because it felt like a big part of her was missing that she didn't dare bother about. If surely, they were dead because of one person, he was the one Dialgia would severely despise and dread as long as she lives.
'The one I'd dread would be Dagar, and the one I'd like to see would be the last one he killed.'
The door opened, and it looked like a Svallian church inside, only without seats. The door behind opened with a loud thud. Before Dialgia was what she wanted to see.
She depends on you
The line stayed in Dialgia's mind. In front of her were three steps to lead her in front of a pedestal. Although Dialgia's eyes were shut, she could make it all out. One almost-darkened surgestone with flecks of emerald green. Though it was much a sight no one would want to see, Dialgia bore a few moments of seeing Verdana die. Then there would be other visions of Dialgia's sisters dying. There would only be her and other people left in the future. Why? It was because Dialgia's sisters were always there, willing to fight for the world they loved. Verdana did that too, embrace tightly her world and the lives she left behind. They all have the same short path. Heroes: they always die. Not because they were stupid. Maybe angst had driven them to unlimited bloodlust. It had driven them to play the unfortunate part. Dialgia fell on her knees, looking up at what only she could see. 'You'll be out of my way soon,' said Dagar. Because of immense fear, Dialgia ran back. The doors opened. She ran and ran, but she could not contain herself. She heard the second line of the song before falling into the dark abbyss.
We believe in you.
