One week later
Tommy's POV
I was in my room setting it up the way I wanted it, the move went well and I got my stitches out, we were starting to settle into the new house nicely. One thing did bother me though, I still haven't told Mom about my visit to heaven and seeing dad. I know I should but I can't, not now. I had placed the box of dads stuff in my closet, praying that Mom wouldn't find it, she never knew that I brought it with us from the move. I've been dying to check it out, and I did when I was board one day.
There were lots of things in the box, like dads senior yearbook. I looked at some of the messages but one of them stood out, it read: Thomas, thank you for a wonderful year, I hope you will keep in touch this summer, I love you and hope our relationship will last a bit longer XOXO -Katherine webber."Katherine webber?" No way. I said to myself, Katherine is mom's name and webber was her maiden name. "Mom and dad we're high school sweethearts?" I needed to tell my sisters they would want to know this, they're always curious about who their father was and now I have a clue. I just can't believe mom and dad never mentioned it before.
"Monica, Lea come here" I shouted for them to come.
"What... what is it, is something wrong?"
I heard Monica calling out."Come look at this guys!"
"Wha- what is it?"
"Read this" I pointed to mom's message in the year book.
"No... way"
"But... wh-wh-why would mom never... ?" lea stuttered over her words
"I don't know, we should look at more of this stuff later" I said changing the subject.
"For now lets continue unpacking."
