She was never gonna’ get the guy[s] she wanted. She wasn’t good enough. She wasn’t pretty, or beautiful, and she had no hope. She hated when Gabriel or Iggy missed a day of school. She felt so lost without either one of them. One day, Iggy was sick and had to stay home, Gabriel almost carried her to the nurse cuz’ he thought she was sick! Then, when Gabriel had to go to a funeral and left school early, Iggy thought she had depression. Gah! Why did her feelings have to mess her  up so much? Her friend, or should she say best friend totally understood, but had no way of helping her, what was she going to do? Tiffany was beautiful on the inside and out, but she never believed the out part. She was always perverted, funny, and made everyone’s day. Why couldn’t she be like Tiffany? As she was going outside after school was over, Iggy met up with her and they had a heated argument about Star Wars.

“Anakin is totally hot!”

“Nuh uh, he has nothing, I mean look at me and look at him.”

“That’s exactly what i’m saying. His curly hair makes him all the more smexier-

“I heard smexy, and i’m here.” Gabriel smiled as walked up to Alex, and her new “friend” James, or Iggy as everyone called him.

“Actually, we were talking about Anakin” Iggy said hotly.

“Who?”

“You don’t know-”

“OMG! HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO ANAKIN IS? HE’S LIKE THE HOTTEST BEING IN THE GALAXY! DO YOU EVEN WATCH STAR WARS? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO YODA IS? DO YOU EVEN KNOW THERE’S A MOVIE CALLED STAR WARS? I CANNOT BELIEVE I WAS FRIENDS WITH SOMEONE WHO DOESNT KNOW WHO ANAKIN IS!! I CANNOT BELIEVE MYSELF. ” Alex ranted.

“Sorry, Star Wars isn’t my thing. I know! To make it up to you, lets say we go to the first one that came out in Blu-Ray.”Gabriel asked hopefully.

“Good, cuz’ you definitely owe me. Are you gonna’ come Iggy?” Alex tried not to sound too desperate.

“Uh, sure.” Iggy tried not to smile triumphantly.

“Ok, lets got to the 9-o’clock one.” Gabriel grinded his teeth as his hatred for Iggy went from manageable to not even measurable.

"So, how'd it go with you and Alex?" Fang really wanted to know.

"JUst peachy" GAbriel smiled, his lips forming a tight line.

"OK, what went wrong?"

"Alex said yes-"

"Then whats the problem?"

"You didn't let me finish! She brought Iggy along with her!"

"Oh, sucker-"

"Whose the sucker?" Gassy smiled.

"Loverboy here has some MAJOR competition" Fang smirked.

"Not major, he's got nothing on me. Compared to him, I'm like a king. Who am I kidding, I am a king!"

"I'm pretty sure Alex would disagree." Fang said.

"Ugh! What am I supposed to do? Kill him?"

"That would be easy, but, no. They can't find out about us, or else we're all dead. Especially since they're mortals. What are you going to do about that anyway? You look way happier with her now than you ever did with Michelle!" Gassy said. They finished their game of basketball and went to their houses. Gabriel got home and called Alex, his study "date" was in 1/2 an hour.

"Hey Alex, you coming?"

"Ya. And one thing."

"Um, ok. What is it?"

"Can Iggy come along?" Gabriel felt like he had been punched in the gut a few million times.

His voice hitched as he said, "Um, i don't think so cuz' my parents don't know him. Sorry."

"Oh, ok. See you later then." Gabriel tried to forget the hint of disappointment in her voice. But there was only so much a guy could handle/go through at a time. At least she was still coming and didn't bail on him. He got into the shower and came out in a whopping five minutes, shaved, deoderized, went downstairs and made some snacks and Alex came in  just as he set them in platters.
