Chapter 12

Alex pov

I tryed to get Iggy to come but it didn't really work. I just wanted him and Gabriel to get along. Why couldn't guys just get along? But, being the stuck up guy he was, he had to say no. But, I loved him all the same. I wore a white skater skirt with a crop top that was a size too big. I put on some eyeliner and mascara. I got into my car and drove to Gabriel's house. Hmmm, that was wierd. A mortal living this close to the demon sectors? Well, they must be lucky people. Or mortals I should say. I was so glad that my parents hadn't found out about Gabriel yet. I rang the doorbell and Gabriel answered. He smiled and I grinned back. I walked right in, and i already smelt delicious food.

"Anything look appetizing?" Gabriel smirked as he saw my eyes amaze with wonder.

"You set a whole feast just for studying? Oh my god, that's amazing."

"Your right, it is pretty amazing if I do say so myself."

I was about to say something back until he grabbed my hand and pulled me too him. He wrapped one of his warm hands around my waist, and kept the other on my hand. He pushed me against him and i could feel his heart beating fast against mine. I stared into his mesmerizing green eyes, and was captivated. Finally, his lips slowly brushed against mine as he gently kissed my lips. His lips were like little rose buds. I took my hands away from his and brought my other arm around his neck. My phone started buzzing, but i didn't care who it was. THis was who I wanted to be with for the moment that i wanted to last as long as i could make it last. As we finally broke apart. I couls feel heat rising in my face. But, unlike other people, i didn't blush, or i couldn't at least. My skin being mocha colored would never show any change But, my ears on the other hand i could tell were bright red. I looked at my shoes as my ears bacame hotter and hotter. I knew he noiced beacuse i had put my hair in a tight ponytail. My ears were like headlights and probably very unattractive.

"Why wont you look at me?" it was Gabriel who broke the silence.

"Because the last time i fell in love like this, I was hurt, and i'm still tryng to find peices of my heart."

"I will find the guy that hurt you and i will avenge you. You are too beautiful to be hurt like that." i smiled a smile only a broken girl like me could give and gave him a hug. As i wrapped my hands around his waist, i spyed the melted chocolate behind im. I slowly dipped my hands in and pretended i wanted a another kiss(not really pretending either though) and brought my hands to his hair and twisted my hands through it just as my lips crashed into his. As the kiss became more and more intense, a sudden ring from my phone made us jump apart. I spied the phone, turned it off without looking at the caller and looked at him with a mischevious smile.

"See you upstairs." and with that i ran upstairs with my stuff.

"Aaaaaaalllllllllleeeeeeeeexxxxxxxxx, what is in my hair?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?" he screamed. I winced, I hadn't expected him to find out so soon.

I peeked out of the door to see him coming upstairs storming toward me.

"You are so gonna' pay"

And with those 5 words, I finally knew what fear was. I screamed and ran around the house with him chasing me. I slipped on the hardwood and landed on my butt, with my phone in my back pocket, I was groaning in pain. I looked at Gabriel looming over me with a smirk on his face.

"I can always count on the wood to watch my back"

"I am never going to run here again."

"But you still haven't learned your lesson yet."

I watched Gabriel come closer to my face and started screaming, "No, please, no, no, no, no.!!!! PLease, no don't do that. Help me someone help!!!"

"No one's gonna be here to help now, or ever."

As his hand came to my face I started screaming my heart out. He took his hands and rubbed my face with chocolate. He then took the whole bowl of chocolate and dumped it all over me. I gasped and stopped screaming. I moaned, thinking of how I would get home in this state without raising any questions. He picked me up and I yelled at him to put me down. He took me downstairs and laid me on the couch. He then laid down next to me and draped a HUGE blanket over us. As I stared into his eyes, I saw true love shining right through them. He brought his arms around my waist and put his other hand on the back of my head. He then wiped his hand over my face which was hardening from all the dried chocolate. Then, he brought his lips on mine. It was like we were meant for each other. His tongue flicked out and licked the chocolate off my lips and I giggled. I NEVER giggled!!!!! This boy was going to be the end of me. Just as he came closer to me again, the door crashed open and the blanket was ripped off of us.

"Iggy?!?"
