Vanessa has been waiting at her house for about an hour, sitting at the end of her bad staring straight at the floor. She inhales deeply and exhales just as hard. Her nerves are fragile at this moment. If she hears a pin drop, she'll react as if it's a Five Nights at Freddy's jump-scare.
Her head bolts up when someone starts knocking on the door. She jumps off her bed, runs downstairs and opens the front door. Monroe is standing on the porch in front of the entryway. "What took you so long?" Vanessa asks.
"I'm sorry, I had to wait until my parents left." Monroe replies. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah." Vaneassa responds. "Let's go."

Erik and Phoebe have been getting her house ready for the movie night party. The DVD is already in the player. A giant popcorn bowl in the middle of the coffee table, and liter soda bottles and Solo cups surrounding it.
One thing has been weighing on his mind since Phoebe informed Erik about the Bible the killer planted in his treehouse. It was definitely a message for him, but what could it mean?
Phoebe looks at Erik who has an expression on his face that reveals to her that he's deep in thought. "You're still thinking about it, aren't you?"
Erik turns toward her. "Wouldn't you?" Erik replies. "I mean wouldn't this be on your mind if you were in my position?"
"Yeah." Phoebe answers. "But it wouldn't stop me from taking a break from this nightmare."
"You know that eventually that break's going to end and you'll be thrown back into that nightmare, right?"
"As I said, it won't stop me from taking th break." Phoebe comments.
"Why are we even doing this?" Erik asks. "Watch this movie? I mean, we were assigned to watch this by the killer, and he's already been arrested. It's kinda' pointless."
"We're watching it becasue we can." Phoebe replies. "And I wanna' watch a movie with my friends without being interrupted by the police, or a lunatic with a knife."
Erik sits down in one of the chairs and continues to think of what the killer's message could be. A thought pops in his mind. "How exactly did you guys come the conclusion that I was buried?"
"Well, we found the same altercation in Leo Miessner's death certificate and figured that the killer was holding you there."
"But what made you think I was buried?" Erik asks in a different way.
"We knew that the church was boarded up. The only way to get in is to blow up the doors and someone would have reported that." Phoebe replies.
Unless the killer either found a way in or made a new way in. Erik says in his mind.
Phoebe notices Erik's resting-ponder-face. What is he thinking about? She asks herself. "Why do you ask?"
"Because I know where the killer's holding Mrs. Robertson." Erik states and rises from the chair. He walks toward the stairs.
"Wait, really?" Phoebe follows.
"Really." Erik says and the two walk up the stairs.
"How?" Phoebe asks. "I don't understand."
"The Bible." Erik vaguely replies. He walks into the guest bedroom and grabs his sweatshirt off the bed.
"Huh?" Phoebe asks.
"There's no time to explain." Erik says as he swings his hoodie around him and pull the sleeves on. "I gotta' go. You stay here." Erik strides toward the door.
