Laurel's POV

"Why do family vacations have to be so time consuming" I said to myself throwing my body on my bed at my grandparents's vacation home in Naples, Florida.

So far this vacation pretty much sucked. I lost my diary, my mom got me a One Direction diary as a replacement, my "time of the month" came at the water park today and a seagull stole my sandwich yesterday.

I swear not having my diary with me is bad luck. Maybe someone's controlling my mind through my diary. I feel like that was in a movie once... Harry Potter? Didn't that Voldemort guy have a diary? Whatever, I need to focus on the task at hand:

Tending to my beautiful tumblr followers.

My Pretty Little Liars theory tumblr has over 10,000 followers, so I have to stay active for them.

I opened my lap top and clicked on safari. Tumblr was a favorited window so I just clicked on that and quickly logged in. Then I reblogged a couple things (including a couple Hunter Hayes GIFS which I really shouldn't be posting on a pretty little liars blog) and then checked my messages. I responded to a couple theories that people had sent me and answered a few questions. Some about my personal life, some actually related to the show.

Then I decided to make a new theory. Melissa is -A. Not an original idea, but I have some clues that I hadn't seen yet, so I put on my Pandora and got to work. Surprisingly, the first song wasn't Hunter Hayes. One Direction actually. I never said I hated them...just their faces on my diary. I started rocking out to You and I while typing my theory. This is my idea of a great night. But my mom had other ideas.

"Laurel..." She said opening the door to my room. "You almost ready to go to the club?"

The Club was the country club that my grandparents belonged to. Every Wednesday they had this big buffet and I was expected to go. But me being me, I didn't get ready and then hoped my mom would say that I didn't have to go because I didn't look presentable. My plan didn't really work.

"Come on. Get dressed," she said pulling out a lace skirt and a navy blur ruffly tank top from my suitcase. Yes. My mom still had to pick out my clothes for special occasions because apparently I couldn't be trusted.I love fashion, but not when fashion has a dress code.

"Do I have to go?" I asked giving her the best puppy dod eyes I possibly could.

"Yes. Your cousins are coming. Their flight should be landing now actually, I should go tell Pa to go get them actually" she said making her way towards the door. Yes! She was leaving!

"I want you dressed before they get here" she said staring me down. Looks like I actually had to do it.

My cousins are almost all boys and when you already have 2 brothers, you basically want to go slam your head against a wall.

My only girl cousin was 13 and an absolute brat. She makes you want to go throw yourself off of a cliff. Isn't my family lovely?

I reluctantly got off of my bed an looked at the clothes that my mother laud out. I wasn't really feeling that outfit, so I picked out a lace dress with some white wedges and a gold Tennessee state necklace. Do I live in Tennessee you ask? No, but I love country so you're going to have to deal with it.

I put on the outfit and did my makeup. Nothing special. Just a little concealer, some neutral eye shadow, a thin line if black eye liner, some pink lipstick and a little blush. I took my hair out of the bun I had it in and looked at in disgust. My hair is curly and gets gross really easily. I brushed it out as best as I could with it being wet and still having chlorine in it. I just did a dutch braid into a bun to keep it controlled and let me tell you, that took a good 20 minutes.

By the time I was done I looked presentable and my cousins were here. Ya! *note sarcasm*

I logged out of my tumblr quick because I didn't need anyone else to see my fangirl-ness.

This is going to be fun.
