Chapter 9.
Hunter's POV
"God bless you guys. Thank you and good night!" I said coming off of the stage.
That crowd was amazing. They had such awesome energy that inspired me to play better.
I grabbed the water bottle that I placed on the floor back stage before the show and took a sip. I took some deep breaths, trying to come down from the adrenaline high of performing.
The guys came and stood next to me. For a second we were just standing there listening to the still buzzing crowd.
"I am never going to get tired of this" I said finally breaking the silence.
"Yep" Matt said next.
We just stood there. The next 3 minutes were spent in complete and utter silence. Just listening.
People we're moving around all around is, but we weren't paying any attention to them.
Performing is never going to get old to me. Never. Every time you go on stage there is something new.Unforeseen circumstances. Different crowd. Different energy. Every time I go out there I can, and do, do something different. Nothing is ever the same. Performance is constantly evolving. I see a video of someone else performing and I think to myself, "oh, I like that", then I use that to shape my performances.
My train of thought was suddenly interrupted by someone saying "Live pass"
By now I knew that phrase meant "go change and put on deodorant. You stink"
I changed really quick and made it back to the live pass area.
A line of people was formed and was escorted to the front.
I was never going to get use to this. A whole line of people just waiting to see me. ME. Just a boy from Louisiana with a dream. A dream to create and share my music with the world.
I'm living my dream.

An hour and a half later and after a ton of me smiling and thanking people, I was back in the dressing room. I still had the biggest smile on my face and knew it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Soon after, we boarded the bus and i went straight to my bunk. Long day. Amazing, incredible day. But still long.
I fell asleep thinking about Laurel. How she must really want her diary back. She needs it back. And I'm going to get it to her.
Right before i fell asleep, my dream guitar appeared in my mind. And then cars. Ahh... Cars.
