Chapter 56
"Laurel, just go to the doctor." Hunter said. His eyes were filled with worry, but her eyes weren't.
"No. I'm fine. I'm promise" she answered.
The night before, Laurel was coughing for almost the entire night. Hunter stayed up with her, but he really didn't have another choice either.
They were sitting in their kitchen. They just drove Katherine to the airport and Hunter had Top Gear on. Laurel was eating grapes and attempting to edit a new video, but Hunter was pestering her about going to the doctor. It was pestering out of love, but still pestering.
"Coughing for almost 6 hours straight isn't healthy."
"Nothing is wrong with me. I just have allergies."
"I'm still getting you medicine" he sad and he grabbed his keys and walked out the door to go to the nearest CVS.

Hunter's POV
(Actually Hunter's journal. Laurel made him start writing one)Laurel is stubborn. She won't admit when she's wrong. And I think she's wrong about this. She coughed for 6 hours. That isn't normal. But she thinks it's allergies. Allergies are normal. Coughing for 6 hours is not normal. Praying the medicine I got her is enough.

"Okay, on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you like Oreos?" Laurel asked Hunter.
They were sprawled out on the couch. The movie was over, but they weren't tired. And there was still snacks left, so why would they go to bed?
"9" Hunter said. "On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you like gummy bears?"
"10"
"I though I was your 10!" Hunter yelled.
Laurel put her finger over his lips .to make him stop talking. "This is really cheesy, but stick with me here," she said. He nodded.
"You break the scale"
"You're right." He said.
"About what?"
"That was extremely cheesy."
And they broke out into a fit of laughter.

"Collage: Day 1" Hunter said pulling into the parking lot by TSUs Performing Arts Center.
Everything was beautifully landscaped. Everything that was supposed to be green was green, not that brown color that was created when a little too much sun mixes with too little water. The sun was shining and the birds we chirping. Everything was calm. Except Laurel.
"Hunter, I cannot do this." Laurel said. He hand was clutching her Music Theory book and a water bottle. With every inch they moved in the car, her grip tightened even more.
"Laurel, it's school. You've been going to school since you were 5."
"But this is a school where people are expected to be great".
"You should fit right in then." Hunter said. When Laurel cocked her head slightly in confusion, he added,"You're great".
She mouthed "ooh" an turned her head out of the window. Hunter gracefully parked his black range rover in a spot close to the door and looked at Laurel.
"You got this!" He said and kissed her quickly.
She took of her seatbelt and began to open the door, when Hunter grabbed her fave and kissed her again. This time was a lot longer. She sat there for a second with his hand still wrapped around her head. She looked up at him an he said, "That was for good luck".
She smiled before opening her door and running off to class. Right when Hunter was about to leave, Laurel fame up to his window and knocked on it. He rolled it down and she said, "I love you" and then immediately darted away.
Hunter yelled, "YOU COULD'VE GIVEN ME A STORM WARNING" in an attempt to be funny and then drove away, blasting a the country station.
