Demi POV
"Kevin" i gulped.
I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. At least he knocked when he did and not a few minutes later. Who knows what would have happened then.
"What are you doing here Demi?" he asked leaning in to give me a hug. Thank god he wasn't mad at me. He was actually smiling really big.
"I was sent to school over here"
"So" he grinned "You're together now?" He kept looking between me and Nick.
My face flushed and i lost eye contact with Kevin. "Yeah" Nick said.
"Well you two are lucky that it was me who decided to come up here first and not Joe"
"Wait, Joe's here?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, when we heard you got yourself into hospital we all booked a flight over to here. We wanted to make sure you were alright. But i see Demi already did that for us"
I chuckled "Yup"
"So where is everyone?" i asked.
"Joe and Frankie went to get something to eat and mom and dad are bringing their things up to the rooms"
"Well, i should probably go and let you all catch up" i said standing up from the sofa.
"No, Demi just stay. It will be fine" Nick pleaded.
"Sorry Nick. It makes me feel uncomfortable just thinking about it."
"Okay" he said with a sad smile "I understand"
I gave him a light kiss on the lips and headed out the door. I couldn't face his family quite yet. Not after the last time i saw them.
Nick POV
The moment the door closed Kevin started teasing me. I didn't mind it though. He was actually happy for me.
"How do you think Joe will take it?" i asked after he died down on the teasing.
"I don't know to be honest. But he'll just have to deal with it. You and Demi were destined to be together."
"I know."
Just then i heard a light knock on the door. I got up from my seat and went to answer it. My mom, Joe and Frankie all stood there with smiles on their faces. My dad had a cold expression on his face. Is he really going to be like that the whole time he's here?
I stepped to the side and let them all in. When the door closed my mom started smothering my face with kisses.
"I missed you so much Nicholas" she said between kisses.
"I missed you too mom" i said giving her a hug.
She took a step back and gave me a weird look. She leaned in and sniffed my neck. "You smell like perfume"
I looked over at Kevin who had just spat his tea out at the question. My mom looked over at Kevin who went on to explain that it was really hot. Joe also went on to smell me. But it gave me some time to think of the perfect excuse.
"I ran into some fans today and they wanted a picture. It must've came off of them"
"Okay" my mum eyed me suspiciously.
Hopefully they don't catch on just yet. I want some time to figure out how to tell them in the right way. And by "them", i mean my dad and Joe. If i don't do it right, all hell will break loose.
