Nick POV
I was awoken by the sound of my phone ringing loudly. It was Joe.
"What the hell Joe? It's 3 in the morning" i said rubbing my eyes.
"Oh crap, sorry man i forgot about the time difference"
"It's fine" i sighed "What do you you want?"
Through the line i could hear him take a deep breath. "I called to apologize. I was a complete douche to you and i deserved that hit. I've matured a lot since you left and i really miss my little brother."
"Did Kevin put you up to this?" i asked.
"No" he said "I'm serious Nick. I really miss talking to you"
"I've missed you too Joe" i said.
"Really?" he asked with hope in his voice.
"Of course i missed you. Your my brother."
We spoke on the phone for another half hour just catching up with each other. I didn't mention anything about Demi though. We were just back on speaking terms so i wasn't about to ruin that now.
Once our call had ended i happily drifted back off to sleep. Everything in my life was going just perfect.
Demi POV
"Morning!" i sang to my aunt as i pranced into the kitchen with a smile on my face.
"So how did it go last night?" she asked with a smirk.
"Amazing!" i said "We went to the carnival and i've never had so much fun in my life"
"Well i'm glad to see that you're happy. I knew he would make you happy"
"I don't think i've been this happy in all my life"
I pranced back up stairs to go and get ready for school when my phone began to beep.
From Nick: Good morning beautiful :)
I felt my heart flutter in my chest. I feel so lucky right now. I wish all the guys out there were as sweet as Nick was to me. I tossed my phone back onto my bed and went back to getting changed. Once i'd done i grabbed my things and went back down stairs.
My aunt dropped me off early so i could quickly meet up with Nick for a bit. I walked through the door and then up to the class that Nick was in. Through the window i could see Nick with his back to the door playing the guitar with headphones on.
I quietly snuck in and just watched him for a moment. I loved watching him play, he was extremely talented.
Once he'd finished the last few chords i began to clap. He quickly turned around to look at me. He smiled, put down the guitar and began to walk over to me. His arms snaked around my waist as i looked into his glowing orbs. Nick's eyes were one of my favourite things about him, they were beautiful. His soft lips gently pushed against mine as he put a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Your awfully happy today" i said.
"Well everything's going pretty good in my life right now" he grinned "Joe called me last night to apologize and not to mention i have the most gorgous girlfriend in the world". My head hung as i blushed. He was just too cute.
"So do you wanna come round tonight?" i asked "Maybe we could watch a movie or something"
"Yeah sure"
I gave him a quick peck on the lips before i walked out into the hall to be greeted by Miss Kelly. "What are you doing up here Demi?" she asked.
"Uh" i stuttered. "I came up to talk to Nick about the song we were doing"
"Well don't bother him too much" she said.
"I won't" i replied with a fake smile.
Well.
That was a close one. We probably shouldn't make out in a place that anybody could see us. We could save that for tonight when he comes over.
