Demi POV
"Demi you have to get up or your gonna be late!" my aunt called from downstairs.
"Ugh" i sighed.
I turned over on my bed so i was lying on my front and put my pillow on top of my head. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Demi you have to get up!" she said. I remained in my bed not moving. "If you don't get up, i'll make you"
The next thing i felt was the coldness of a cup of water running down my neck. I jumped up and ended on the floor.
"What the hell?!" i yelled.
"I warned you" she said as she left the room.
I sighed again and went to get a towel to wipe away the water. Once i'd done that i grabbed my phone to see that i had a 3 new text messages.
From Sarah: There's a party happening on Saturday! You up for it?
To Sarah: Sure :)
From Dylan: Hey babe. Wanna be my date for a party on Saturday?
I really don't know how he got my number. The only reason i saved him as a contact was so i could ignore his texts.
From Nick: I just wanted to make sure your okay. I'll see you later on today and maybe after we could properly catch up.
I smiled at the text he'd sent me, maybe he was going to make a move on me. I can't wait!

The day went by fast. I hadn't saw Nick all day but i was about to see him next period. I left my previous class early by asking to use the bathroom. I walked down to music and saw Nick in the room by himself sitting on a table.
I walked in and he looked over at me and smiled.
"Hey" he said with a sympathetic smile. "What are you doing here this early? The class doesn't start for another five minutes"
I walked over and took a seat next to him. "I came to apologize for yesterday. I was a mess, and i really didn't want you to see me like that and-"
"Demi, you don't need to apologize for anything. I was the one that walked into your aunts house without permission so, i think i should be the one apologizing" he said with a chuckle. "It just really hurts me to see you upset, and it scares me to know what could have happened if i didn't show up last night"
"Its just, i can't stop, i feel like i deserve it Nick."
He looked at me with sadness deep in his eyes. "Listen to me Demi, you are beautiful and you don't deserve to do that to yourself" he said as he wrapped his arm round my waist. "I'm gonna help you get better. Its gonna be okay"
The bell rang and as soon as it did, Nick released his grip and i slip off of the table and gave him a weak smile. I took my seat and waited for everyone to arrive. Miss Kelly walked in and said something to Nick. He nodded his head and got up off the desk and went over to the piano.
Once everyone arrived Miss Kelly told us that Nick was going to perform a song.
"Okay so this is a song that means a lot to me. Its called 'A Little Bit Longer'"
Got the news today
Doctors said i had to stay
A little bit longer and I'll be fine
