Demi POV
There was a party tonight. I wasn't supposed to be going but since Nick's family came over to visit him i didn't want to intrude. But mostly i felt uncomfortable about being in the same room as Joe and his dad. They both treated me like a pile of shit when Joe and i broke up. Nick didn't though. He would always defend me no matter what.
I called up Sarah and told her that i was able to go. She said she would pick me up and we would just go together because i didn't know where i was going.
I spent my time looking for something to wear but i couldn't find anything that didn't make me look fat. I started sobbing uncontrollably and soon my aunt came running up the stairs. She wrapped her arms around me and held my head close to her heart. The sound calmed me down slightly but i still felt awful about my body.
Once i was able to speak she asked me why i was crying.
"I was looking for something to wear for a party that i'm going to tonight and i couldn't find anything to wear because all my clothes make me look fat." i yelled getting angry at myself.
"Demi you're far for fat" she said trying to comfort me.
"Stop saying that!" i screamed. "You're only saying that to calm me down. I know i''m fat, why can't you just say it to my face because i already know it's true! Back in Texas at school people called me fat and what's changed since then? Nothing!"
"Demi you have an eating disorder!" she argued back "You are beautiful and you have to realise that or you're never going to get better."
"Well it looks like i'm never going to get better because i'm far from beautiful!"
"I don't think it's a good idea if you go to this party" she told me.
"I'm going" i stated.
"In the state you're in it's not a good idea"
"I just have to find something to wear" i murmured as i flung all my clothes around the room. I ran my hands through my hair trying to stay as calm as i could. My aunt just stood there watching over me. Probably making sure i didn't do anything stupid.
I wasn't going to wear a dress. They all made me look horrible. I picked up a few bits of clothing and put them on. I walked over to my opened window and closed it. I looked down at the of the house and saw Sarah standing there looking really awkward. How long had she been standing there for? Had she heard all of that yelling?
A lump formed in my throat as i walked though the piles of clothes in my room and past my aunt. When i got to the front door my aunt called on me.
"Don't be late" she said sadly.
I nodded and strolled out the door and over to Sarah who gave me a weak smile.
"How much of that did you hear?" i muttered.
"Enough to know what you're going though" she said making full eye contact with me. "I don't want to see anything bad happen to you Demi. I know we've not known each other for that long but we've become really close"
"I know" i said tearing up.
"Come here" she said giving me a hug. Tears were falling from my face for the second time in the last hour.
"Thank you" i told her as i wiped the tears away.
"Are Holly and Lauren going to be at this party?" i asked as she began to drive away.
"Holly couldn't go because she was going somewhere for the weekend and Lauren doesn't go anywhere without Holly so she isn't going either"
"Good" i said with a genuine smile.
Once we arrived i saw how crowded it was. I could get lost in here pretty easily which is something i didn't want to do. I was just going in to get drunk and forget about everything.
A few people said 'hi' to me and then i went to get some drink. I downed a full bottle of beer in a matter of minutes.
"Demi take your time" Sarah said "The drink isn't going anywhere"
I slowed down but after about an hour i was pretty drunk. Dylan came up to me and started dancing on me. I was too drunk to realise what was happening right away but once i caught on i pushed him off and went to look for Sarah. I needed her to take me home.
I asked around the house to see if anyone knew where she was. Someone said that they saw her in the kitchen talking to someone about five minutes ago. I went through to the kitchen but it was empty. I turned round to walk out when Dylan stepped in my way.
"Move" i slurred.
"Why would i do that baby?" he replied with a smirk.
"Sarah!" i called hoping that she would find me here.
"Nobody can hear you over the music"
He began to move closer to me. I was drunk but i knew what he was trying to do. He kept trying to put his hands on me but every time he did i pushed him back off.
I began to panic "Help!" i yelled.
He covered his hand over my mouth as i tried to scream. Nobody was there and nobody could hear me over the blaring music.
"Please just let me go" i begged when i managed to squirm out of his hold.
"Why would i do that?" he said with a grin as he picked me up and squeezed me tightly. It was difficult to breathe and i didn't know what to do.
I started kicking and screaming as he dragged me out of the house. I could see his car on the other side of the street and i was terrified of what was about to happen to me.
