Return To Marsh Village, Lucius The Bat

Back in the present, Lucius finished explaining his backstory to Felren who was shocked, and appalled at what Lucius went through. "So all this time you've been dead, and training in the Upper Life. You got that Pashiva Armor from Sunar, you've mastered almost all of Pashiva and you crossed Pashiva Path"? Felren asked. "It was a long, tedious journey, apparently Pashiva Path ends at the opposite side of the world from where we are. So it took a few months to get back". Lucius explained. "And you came back here, to get revenge on the Riders, but instead changed to wanting to take control of Duln and then the world". Felren said proving he understood Lucius's motives. "Yes, and after that, I'll overthrow the Riders and I'll end this Under Lord Siege, then I'll return to the Upper Life someday and take down all of the Upper Lords, I'll return back to Earth and make it so only mortals matter. Humanity's better off that way anyway, without deities harassing us every millennia while other so called Gods sit up there and watch". Lucius explained. "He's a monster". Felren thought to himself. "And being that you blatantly refused my offer to join me, I no longer have use for you. So lets make this quick Felren, I have a monster to slay". Lucius said while readying himself to resume the fight the two had. Felren then charged at Lucius at his most nimble speed as Lucius threw his fist outward as Felren caught it with his right hand. With Felren's palm open he fired a cannon ball from it into Lucius's hand knocking both of them back. Felren gripped his right wrist in pain from the shock of the attack while Lucius seemed only mildly annoyed by it. Lucius then charged at Felren and started jabbing his lance at him at an immense speed. Felren was backing up attempting to avoid all the stabs at him until Felren resorted to ducking underneath a jab and fired a bolt at Lucius's stomach while Lucius warped away to Felren's left. As a natural reaction Felren started firing machine guns at him. "Machine guns". Felren yelled as Lucius dodged each and every bullet perfectly as the bullets flew into the trees as the sounds of popping and shattering echoed through the vicinity. The two then stared at each other again from a distance. "You cant even hit me with my power Felren, and yet you still insist on trying to take my life". Lucius said. "Believe me, I want nothing more then to get away from you". Felren said. "Yes just like the Rep- Sapien. Speaking of which, now just might be the perfect time to show off my true form, the form which showcases the nightmarish reality of ability. Suddenly Lucius's chest started to pound ferociously as his pupils vanished leaving only the white of his eye visible. Lucius's teeth started to sharpen live knives. Lucius was no longer an omnivore by appearance of teeth anymore, his fangs showed him as a carnivorous monstrosity. Suddenly the vertical shaped, open scratches in his armor started to fill in as long, black, slender wings started to sprout out of them. At the end of these wings were small hands which were still capable of holding Lucius's lance. Lucius's face and other exposed parts of his body started to become furred and his ears pricked up. Lucius now showed himself as a humanized bat. Felren was in extreme surprise and was caught off guard by Lucius's sudden transformation. "Lucius, what"? Felren asked. "This is my true state. My bat form allows me to fly and move more swiftly then ever. The only downside is I traded in some defense for agility, but I'm far more capable of killing you then I was moments ago. Suddenly Lucius somehow appeared in front of Felren and Lucius swiped his lance downward from left to right at Felren who parried with his gauntlets. Lucius then started flying all around the area and charging down to Felren who was in extreme distress of the situation. "I gotta figure a way out of here, while keeping my life". Felren thought to himself. Felren then started to sporadically fire bullets from his fingertips all around the air hoping to hit Lucius. However due to his extra agility Lucius dodged all the shots. Felren gained an idea as he started running the opposite direction of where Regenri was heading. "Where do you think you're going FELREN". Lucius taunted flying at insane speeds at Felren who had his hand in the satchel of God Shards. He then pulled out an invisibility shard. "Ah trying to use a God Shard on me. Tough luck, no matter what Shard you use on me, it'll never match up to my superior physical capabilities". Lucius taunted. Felren rolled up his sleeves and held the God shard up to it. "Yeah? Well match up to this". Uttered to himself while rubbing the invisibility shard on his arm as he became invisible leaving Lucius befuddled. Felren then started running back on the path towards Marsh Village where Regenri was heading where Melat and the others are. Lucius then scanned the area and noticed in his blurry vision Felren's footprints on the dirt road. "Nice try, but I'm not that blind". Lucius yelled flying to where Felren's footprints led. Felren the as a natural maneuver jumped from where he was into the bushes leading into the thick wilderness. Lucius heard the sound very clearly and could track him down easily. "It's no use trying to outsmart me Felren, I use echolocation allowing me to hear your every move". Lucius explained. Felren then with quick thinking started firing bullets in various directions which threw Lucius into utter confusion. Suddenly Lucius started looking in various directions as the sounds of Felren running through the woods was overwhelmed by Felren's bullets whizzing through the air. Lucius then started flying around as Felren started firing billets and eventually got about five hundred feet away from Lucius. "I gotta keep this up hoping he doesn't find me". Felren thought to himself. Lucius however started flying around the area where Felren already left hoping to find him.
    Meanwhile back at Marsh Village out in the lake which was supporting the village above it, Melat, Naytan, Array, Pyroy, Anita and Eresil were training in Watered Pores and Hair Vines as Naytan looked to his left and saw a figure running towards the village out in the distance. Naytan nudged Eresil as the group got out of the water and looked ahead and saw the man get closer. However as the man got closer they noticed the half human, half reptile hybrid in human form running towards them. "What is that thing"? Array asked as the group got into fighting positions. "I don't know". Pyroy answered. "Wait a minute, could that be that thing that Felren's looking for, the Rep- Sapien"? Anita asked. Suddenly they hear the sounds of rustling in the trees as they all focus on that and see Felren walk out slowly out of the swampy marsh. He and Regenri started walking side by side to each other. "Hey, we need to make this look real so act like I'm retraining you". Felren whispered. "Alright, I'm trusting you". Regenri said while acting submissive to Felren's command. Felren pointed to the house the Brown Cloaks were staying in as they all regrouped inside the house. Now the next step was to be decided.
