Being the youngest one in the family does have its downsides. My older brother and sister are always picking on me. In our town, it seems like everyone has a secret. Our family's secret is that we have certain powers. My sister and my mother have telepathy and my brother, my father, and I all have telekinesis. I always try my best and I have a lot more schooling to go.
Darkmore High is a very nice school and is one of the top high schools in the state. I was just starting my first year there and I was very nervous. My brother, Kellin, is a Junior there and I am glad to have him by my side. My older sister, Beatrice, goes to the college nearby and she is studying to be a journalist. I am so proud of my sister and brother, but I am not sure that I am proud of myself yet.
My dad has, at least what I think, has the coolest job ever. He uses his telekinesis to his advantage and he is a telekinetic crime solver. He is greatly appreciated even though he is different than normal people. He is my idol and I am dreaming to be him someday even though there is not much crime that I know of that I could solve. Now that I have filled you in on my past, I must tell you how my whole life flipped upside down and let us start from the first day of Freshman year.
