Miss Ginsberg,

I believe you came into my employ because I wanted to rid myself of my wood heavy bathroom. Please enlighten me as to why my debrief with Rachel regarding my kitchen was full of wood?

Sasha,

Of course I trust you. Your choice of wood seems absurd, that is all.

H,

I understand your aversion to wood, your old bathroom was, quite frankly, heinous. But wood can be good! The right timber can be life changing, especially when mixed with the right materials. You've loved every other room in your house that I've done and I promise you will love the kitchen too.

I plan to make it your favourite room of the house.

Sasha,

I concede. Run with it for now then but pencil me in for the meeting you set up regarding the digital imagining of the room.

I'll have you know, the kitchen is already my favourite room in the house. The foyer is a close second.

The choice of a slate and timber kitchen had been a risky one. Originally I'd thought of polished concrete countertops with crisp white cabinetry, plenty of warm lighting, and stainless steel accents but it was too safe. I wanted to push Harry's limits and create a concept that grew on him, surprising him when the space became his favourite place to be in the house.
