Author's note:
Hello! Thank you for picking this story! This is actually the first one I've ever written. I see a very little amount of Super 4 stories so why not add another one to the small bunch! Please do tell me what you think and please honest! Once again, thank you and I hope you enjoy!

It was just a normal Spring day, the weather was nice, with just a little bit of wind. How could such normal conditions lead to so many changes?
Twinkle had them writting special letters for a festival called "The Paper Boat Festival", one where, as she explained:
'It's kind of like Mother's Day! We write a letter directed to our mothers, but instead of sending it to them we fold the letters into little boats and then we go to the Enchanted River and see them go away! ~'
'That's a cute idea.' Alex said, but right at the word "mother" he was already receiving knowing looks from Gene and Ruby, to which he quickly said. 'There's no need to look at me like that, I never really knew my mother, she died when I was still really young... But since we don't have to hand the letters to them, maybe I'll also write something...'
He picked up a pen (or whatever name Gene had given to those sticks of ink) and proceeded to write a few lines.
As for Gene, he also didn't have much to say, his mother was still alive, but, as a scientist, she spent most of her time at the laboratory and then when it was his time to invent his own things... well let's just say they didn't see each other a lot.
Besides, he didn't really care about the festival, everything related to magic still made him a bit skeptical, still, telling Twinkle he didn't want to do it was the same of telling Ruby she couldn't fight because ot her gender: it could only end in disaster.
Speaking of Twinkle, she was writting something as big as a will at a terrifying speed, having Alex make sure she didn't end up turning the Chameleon into a Disco Ball, with all the glitter she was using. After a while, the lenght of the letter made the others curious, they had never heard of her family.
'Twinkle?' Alex called. "We've never seen your family...'
'Well that's normal!' She cut him 'Fairies aren't really born! I mean... we must've been born otherwise I wouldn't exist but... my brain... Well fairies come from magical flowers! Those flowers just bloom for some months and then BOOM' She said waving her hands under the boys' concerned and speechless expressions. 'It explodes and a fairy comes out!'
'That explains a lot' muttered Gene, refering to how weird Twinkle was, now he knew it probably because she literally exploded from the interior of a plant.
'Well I'm writting a letter just telling the flower my entiiiiire life, just like I did the years before! ~'
There was one person left, Ruby who was just bitting the top of her pen, completely lost in her own thoughts. Being noticed by Twinkle who was resting her hurting wrist.
'What about you, Ruby? I never heard of your mother! Did you also come out of a flower?'
Ruby suddenly came back to reality and noticed all of the all others looking at her, even Alien.
'Oh, right, flowers, yes..' She said, still half head on the clouds. She then went through what she had just heard but didn't pay attention, and quickly added 'Wait no! I didn't come from a flower.. I think.. I actually... I'm kind of... I'm adopted.' She said the last words quickly, as one removes a bandage.
There was a long and awkward silence. Why hadn't she told them that before? But before they could think about it any further she explained:
'Rubens found me while fishing, I was still a baby...I never told anyone this because.. well I don't need people having pity of me.'
'That somehow explains the blue hair...'
'But Ruubyy! ~' Twinkle half said-half cried. 'That's an importand thing to say!! And you must have some kind of clue to who your parents are, no?'
Some kind of clue...
Those words made Ruby quickly touch her left shoulder, flicker of memory.
Some kind if clue...

There it goes! I wrote that as light speed, that's new.
This story is going to be a little different from the ones out there, a little bit more slow. Also, I hope it's not weird for me to use an apostrophe ( ' ) instead of an hifen ( - ) for speeches. I feel like it's a cleaner way to write...
Anyways, I hope that wasn't to boring, like I said, it's going to be a bit slow.
Please give me your honest feedback and tell me how I can improve! Thanks for reading and until next time, byee!
