Hi there. Name's Exodic and I'll be your narrator for this story. Don't know me? Kinda makes sense. Tiny intro before storytime:

I'm a YuGiOh! Duel monster spirit made by author-chan, SilverStarDraco. My concept was made sometime in freshman year or maybe sophomore year of high school. Author-chan's in college now.  She based me off of Exodia and Kuriboh.(My effects have never been mentioned...probably 'cause I haven't been in a duel yet.) My owner is her main OC, Silver Ryu. I'm a historian on Duel monster history and (for some reason) known to cause trouble around Silver's friends.

Anyways, because I'm a historian, Author-chan gave me permission to learn some history of the Pokemon world as well as tell her tale of Pokemon Weapons. The Pokemon world is really large, almost as large as the YuGiOh! world.(can't tell which is bigger, and for now I'm not going to care)

Exodic's POV(most of the time...counted as 3rd POV)

This tale truly begins with the prince's coronation. The prince had his coronation in front of the land he was going to rule in, like every other coronation. However, instead of a crown, the king's staff was the "crown" being passed on to the prince(now a king). I'll mention the importance of the staff some other time. For now, I'll read of the turn of the people's lives.

...

In the past, the land that the people of today live on was called Sayorden. Today, the people call it Warrington, named after the 1st royal leader, Elwin and his wife Talila Warrington. Every time a new leader is chosen, the people debate on whether to name it Sayorden or Warrington, mainly because of the royal rules/laws.

A majority, at least 40%, of the population were farmers and other jobs that involved the crops and Pokemon. Berry trees were planted all the time, as both human and Pokemon could eat berries. There were plenty of trees that help make Pokeballs.

At least 20% were city folk and worked on tools and other necessities. They took berries and made them into food, treats, and medicines. There were some blacksmiths that created Pokeballs out of trees, Apricorns, and other materials.

At least 2% was the royal family. This job is self-explanatory. This job also included the guards, servants, and those similar to the servants, but aren't servants.

At least 3% was made up of travelers. People came by, stayed for a while, and went on their way.

At least 35% of the population was made up of Pokemon that lived with the people. The Pokemon worked together with the humans to live in peace. Some Pokemon and people built powerful bonds that were very hard to break.

That's the population that lived in the land of Sayorden/Warrington.

...

Anyways when the new king rose to the throne, the peaceful life that the people were living came to an end. (Author-chan didn't give him a name so I'll call him Kent.) Kent created new rules. The biggest change was new taxes. Every month, the people of the land of (In this case, the people called it Sayorden.) Sayorden had to pay taxes in the form of 1 pound of berries. Now, a pound of berries may not seem like a lot, but when Kent becomes specific on which berries, that becomes a major disaster. Every other month, he would specify a really rare berry that became the tax of the month. If the people couldn't pay the amount of berries, he would send his soldiers to take the family's special Pokemon. If the family had no Pokemon, the soldiers would take children 5 years old and younger. If the family had no children, the family would be arrested. Kent called this "2 chances, 1 chance, or none". He said this extremely absolute.

By the end of Kent's 1st year as king, over ½ the land of Sayorden was barren of berries, people, and Pokemon. That year had a huge drought, so no berries could grow or be harvested. Those that did manage to harvest could barely feed their families AND pay the monthly tax.

For some reason, the only people spared from the taxes were the blacksmiths that made Pokeballs. Those that managed to survive the 1st year were given the last month and the 1st month of the new year free of taxes, since no berries could grow or be stored. They also wondered why the blacksmiths were spared from taxes when there were hardly any Pokemon living in the land of Sayorden to catch. The answer would always elude them and the blacksmiths themselves.

Exodic's POV(just a reminder & for those that don't want to scroll all the way to the top to find out whether Author-chan changed POVs somewhere due to how long this intro is...)

That's all for now. Next time we meet, I'll tell more about how this story will move on.

Bye bye for now and see you in this book, the YuGiOh! book, or in our next meet!

Hope you don't run away from all the information. Btw, the notes in the parentheses are Exodic's notes to help move the story along and not part of my story, minus the ones next to the POV.

Made up the name Sayorden...so try not to ask what in the world it mean... Warrington, Elwin, & Talila were names found in an "Random name generator"...if you're wondering...
