I sighed as I sat in my car. My parents were driving me to the Togami estate for some party or whatever. I didn't really care. I felt very exasperated and annoyed. It wasn't just my own though, my soulmate was currently feeling the same way, interesting… not. I could care less how my soulmate is feeling right now. If anything, it annoys me even more how I always have to feel how they're feeling.

“Y/N honey. It'll be fun I promise”

I sighed

“Whatever you say mom”

She smiled. I guess that was a good enough answer for her. I stared out the car window at the evening sky and the tall trees as we drove past them. They soothed me in a way, made me feel a little happier. I knew it wouldn't last long though, we would be back in a residential area fairly soon. In fact, I could see the lights of the mansions in the distance. I suppressed another sigh. I didn't want my mother chewing me out again. 5 minutes later streetlights were flashing by and 10 minutes after that we were stopped in front of a huge mansion. The Togami mansion. My parents got out of the car.

“Let's go honey”

I silently grumbled under my breath and got out of the car too. I followed behind my parents up to the door of the mansion. They knocked on the door and a woman who I could only assume was Mrs Togami answered.

“Ah welcome welcome! Come in come in!”

We followed her in and put our shoes in a large shoe rack before following her to a large ballroom where the party was going to be taking place. There were a couple people there already but not too many. It wasn't long before more people began filing in though. I stood near the edge staying out of things not really sure what to do until a small group of kids about my age came over and basically forced me to join their little group. At first, I hated it but eventually I actually started to have fun! I guess mom was right after all. Although I was having fun I still felt quite annoyed. It was solely because of my soulmate now.

“Someone's not a happy camper…”

I mumbled to myself. The girl next to me heard me though and leaned over.

“Are you talking about your soulmate?”

She whispered in my ear and I nodded

“Don't worry mine isn't a happy camper either… they're almost always depressed”

“Mines almost always annoyed”

The girl giggled

“Well best of luck when you find them then”

“I could say the same to you”

“True”

We went back to having fun but… it was starting to get boring doing similar things over and over again. Then I heard something that caught my interest.

“Where is Byakuya?”

It was definitely the voice of Mr. Togami.

“Still in his room refusing to come”

“That's it, I'm going up there myself to get him down here!”

Family drama? I HAVE to see that! It'll make things a lot less boring… but first I have to get out of this room… easy.

“Hey guys I'm going to go to the bathroom”

“Got ya! Don't take too long!”

I left the group of kids and told the same thing to my mother who told me where the bathroom was. I left the ballroom and grinned to myself. Obviously I wasn't going to the bathroom. Mr. Togami just disappeared up a set of stairs. I followed him up and to a room on the 2nd floor. He walked in and closed the door almost the whole way leaving a crack. I peeked in the crack to see him staring down at who I could only assume was Byakuya.

“What do you want father?”

He sounded incredibly annoyed… and I felt incredibly annoyed. Is is coincidence or something more?

“You're going to that party”

Byakuya scowled and began turning away when his father grabbed him and began dragging him. He struggled a bit before breaking free and facing his father. His eyes were filled with rage… and I felt furious… it isn't just a coincidence… is it?

“What do you think you're doing!?”

A heated argument broke out between the two of them. Eventually Mr. Togami just turned and stormed out. I jumped out of the way so he wouldn't see me. After he was gone I snuck back to the now wide open door and looked in at Byakuya who was now sitting on his bed. My heart started pounding with excitement. I snuck into his room and approached him. He didn't look at me but he knew I was there.

“I don't know who you are but what the hell do you want?”

I took a deep breath

“I think you're my soulmate. When you're annoyed, I'm annoyed, when you're angry, I'm angry, when I'm excited, you're excited. I can tell you are, it's pretty obvious”

His eyes widened and he looked at me and a light of realization struck his eyes.

“You're Y/N L/N…”

“Yes that's me”

“Oh thank god”

I cock my head a bit

“Huh?”

He stood up and took my hands in his.

“I'm just glad that my soulmate is part of the 1%”

I smiled at Byakuya and he smiled back.

“Follow me. I know a room where my father won't bother us”

He led me down two flights of stairs to the basement into a small living room and we sat down. We told a bit about ourselves to each other.

“So I felt you were having some fun earlier”

“Yeah, I was”

“Well… we could have some… real fun”

I blushed as he said that.

“B-BYAKUYA!”

He laughed

“I'm just kidding. For now, your company is more than enough”

I rolled my eyes a bit at him before snuggling up to him. My mother is probably wondering where I was but honestly… I don't care. Byakuya is all I care about in this beautiful moment.
