Cameron was the first of the trio to wake up. He woke up from his slumber feeling tired and weak. His throat felt like sand. He couldn't see much, for it was dark. He tried to move, but his hands and legs were tied together. He tried to free himself, but it was useless. He tried using his magic to free himself, but when he tried pain shot up his spine and entire body, causing him to scream in pain and agony.

"Now, now, brother." Said a voice from the dark. "You're very weak, sadly. But you'll heal. Stay as you are and don't move."

"Wh-where are they?" Cam said, his voice hoarse and weak.
"Who?"
"Ashley and Jennifer. Where are my friends?" He said, voice stronger this time. "And who are you? Why are you hiding? Show yourself." Cam demanded.

"Very well."

On top of the stairs, a violet aura shimmered around a human form, filling the empty room with enough light for Cameron to see.

When his eyes finally adjusted and he was able to see, he saw Ashley and Jennifer, lying on the floor, unconscious and tied up. "Ashley! Jennifer! Guys, wake up!" He called, trying to wake his friends up.

"Quite!" Said the voice. Just now did Cameron realize that it belonged to a female. "They won't wake up. They are under a spell, and it won't last long." She said. "Who are you?" Cameron snarled. "I'm Ayesha. And I'm a daughter of Hecate." Ayesha said. "Hecate...that means...-"
"Yes. We're half-siblings."
"Wh-what do you want." Cameron said. His head was throbbing and his throat was getting drier and drier.

"I've been with you at the cave that night. Mom sent me on a quest to get her some stuff. And I might have overheard your conversation with her. I've been following you since then. You have no idea how happy I am you guys came in here." Ayesha said.
"Look. I don't know what you want, but please release my friend. I'm guessing you want me not them. Let them go, please." Cameron sighed. "And do you mind getting me some water, that would be great."

"Do you remember what mother told you that night at the cave?" Ayesha asked. Ascending down the stairs and walking towards the spot where Cameron laid bound. With a flick of her wrist, Cameron's bounds were gone.

"Gods! Shit." He cursed. His joints hurt from being in the same position for too long. "I do. Y-yeah."
"Good. Tell me, brother. What do you plan on doing? Will you listen to Hecate? Or will you join us?
"Your plan is stupid and useless, Ayesha. Many have tried. What makes you think you'll win?" Cameron asked.
"Answer me!" Ayesha snarled.

FLASHBACK TO THE NIGHT AT THE CAVE.
Cameron trashed and punched his way through the bats, but it was all useless.

After a while, the bats threw him in a cave that cam figured wasn't far from camp. He looked around and immediately knew where he was; he was at one of his mother's many caves. He was at Hecate's cave.

"Hello, boy." A female voice said.
"Mother." Cameron just nodded. "Normally when you want me to do your dirty work for you, you just send an Iris message or something. I don't like this new update."

"Now, now. Is that a way to talk to your mom, boy?" Hecate said calmly. She moved towards Cameron, her green aura surrounding her.

"Well, when your mom sends a group of bad smelling bats to pick you up without a warning, I don't know maybe? Let's not mention the other stuff, mom." Cameron scuffed.

Hecate's eyes shone a lighter shade of green and the air in the cave got hotter. "Listen, Cameron."
"All ears."
"Your siblings. They are planning an attack."
"Say what?"
"Kid. Don't tempt me."
"Sorry."
"They want revenge for their other siblings from the second titan war." Hecate sighed
"You mean the one Percy Jackson won oh so wonderfully?"
"Yes."
"And why do they want to do that? Avenge what exactly? And where will they attack?" Cameron asked frantically.
"I don't have many children, boy. I'm not as respected as the other gods, the only reason I don't join the bad side is because I want to stay out trouble." Hecate said, picking a vial from a nearby table.

"I had the most number of losses during that war. Many of your siblings died. During the war, Selena Adams died. Selena had a twin sister, Kate. Kate wanted to avenge her sister's death. During the second giant war, when everyone was busy, she found more of my children, took them and hid them till their time came. She has an army, a small one yes, but powerful enough. Most of my kids can play mind tricks, I'm sure they would convince monsters and other demigods to join them." Hecate explained.

"W-wait what? And how did Kate think of that?" Cameron asked.
"Nyx."
"Nyx? You mean goddess of the night?"
"Yes." Hecate said. She paused for awhile, took a deep breath and continued.
"Nyx convinced Kate that she could avenge her sister by attacking camp half-blood. She doesn't plan on killing anyone. She plans on keeping hostages. Maybe then give them to Nyx if they refuse to cooperate."
"Oh wow. Kate knows how to hold a grudge."
"Cameron. You are my most powerful child. You still don't know your true power, but in time you will, dear. I know how this fight might end. More of my kids will die." She paused. "I don't want that to happen again." She whispered sadly and looked at the ground.
"Mom?" Cameron said.
"Yes, dear?"
"Y-you care about us, right? I mean all of us. Your children." Cameron asked hesitantly. Hecate looked at him like he grew a second head. "Ch-child. Of course I do. You think I don't because I'm not always here and because I don't help, or because I make you do stuff for me, right?" She said with a smile. "Uh yeah kinda." Cameron said.
"I care about each and every child of mine. Losing a child of mine is hard, very hard. They always die unfairly."
"Thanks for the heads up."
"Back to why I brought you here." Hecate said. "Your friend, Jennifer. She has great power. She can stop Nyx from forming her army. The demigods who follow her are all blinded by a dark, dark mist veil. They do what they are told by her. I want you to stop Nyx, save your siblings and end this. Bring Kate to me when your done."
"Oh wow, that sounds like a piece of cake, mother. Thanks."
"It should be. If you find Kate ten days from today, you might be able to stop Night." Hecate said.
"Ten days? That's like...June 21? Why?" Cameron asked.
"That's the sunniest and longest day of the year. That's when Nyx is weakest. That's when you can over come her. During the day and till sunset." She said. "Now you have to leave. And one last thing, son. When you're done with this quest, I don't want to see you talking to the daughter of Hades again." Hecate disappeared, Cameron heard yelling outside the cave and went rushing out.
