Dean Winchester has never been skilled at reading emotions; however, when he's with you, these things seem to come naturally. Neither you or Dean enjoy to openly share your feelings. Rather, you choose to bottle them up, hoping that you can ward off an explosion; although, this is a technique that rarely works for long.
When you're having an off day, Dean tries to avoid questioning you. He knows that hounding and pressuring you into talking, is no way to handle the situation. Instead, he drags you into his room and rushes around the bunker, in search of any blanket he can find. Together, you build a fluffy pillow fort, stocked with all of your favorite movies and junk-food. Spending the day cuddled up with Dean always puts your frazzled mind at ease.
"Don't sweat the small things, [Y/N]." he'd remind you, placing a light kiss to your hair. "Everything will be alright."

Although Castiel can have a difficult time communicating with others, that nerdy, little, sapphire-eyed angel can read you like an open book. He is very intuitive, and has a knack for noticing even the tiniest changes in your mood; whether they be good or bad. Cas absolutely hates when you're upset. He has told you on numerous occasions, that he wishes your pretty smile would never have the opportunity to leave your face; and when it does, he would go to the ends of the Earth to bring it back.
Cas has learned that you enjoy to hear tales from his past. When he notices your mood spiraling downward, he immediately pulls you aside and tells you about one of the thousands of Heaven's he has visited, or a story about the creation of the universe. Though Sam and Dean have teased him about his desperate attempts to keep you happy, he just shrugs them off and smiles, loving the way you curl up beside him.
"If [Y/N]'s happy, I'm doing my job correctly."

Sam:
After years of reading his older brother's emotions, Sam Winchester knows exactly when you're starting to shut him out. However, he almost never forces you to confide in him. Instead, the tall, hazel eyed man chooses to distract your overworked mind; whether it be through taking you into the nearest town, or by snuggling beside you to watch cartoons.
Sam doesn't speak much during these special moments. He would rather you do the talking, knowing that if you felt comfortable enough, you may choose to open up about anything that could be bringing you down; and on most occasions, you do. Sam is always an active listener, making sure to pick at your mind and ask questions. He feels that if he can step into your shoes, maybe then he can help solve your problems... or at the very least, make them less prevelent. You always apologize for dragging him into your messy life, promising to return the favor should he ever need it; but he just gives you a small hug and runs his large hands through your hair.
