Dean:
Never in your wildest dreams did you expect to meet a man like Dean Winchester.
At first glance, you suspected that he was the typical, suave, bar-boy. Also known as the kind of man who would flirt his way into your pants, only to skip town the next morning; but, I guess first impressions don’t always hold up.
Dean was a total sweetheart, obviously looking for a person to confide in; and though he was flirty at first, he never made you feel uncomfortable. In fact, after a few hours of small-talk, you trusted him enough to abandon the bar so that you might continue your conversation in a quieter environment.
Together you walked to a nearby diner, sharing stories about college… or in Dean’s case, the many places that he had traveled during his lifetime. You sat beside him, splitting a plate of chili-cheese fries; though, you later learned that the older Winchester brother very rarely shared food with anyone.
…that thought in itself was enough to make you smile.
You questioned Dean about the subject a few months later, wondering why he would never split food with anyone… well, besides you, of course.
“You hold a special place in my heart, [Y/N].” he told you with a soft smile, holding his beer out for you to take a sip. “I’ve known that since the day that we met.” Leaning into his side, you appreciatively took the glass bottle out of his hand. “How could I deny you anything?”

Castiel/Clarence
When you first came upon Casti… well, Clarence at the time, he was terrified and confused, huddled underneath the awning of an abandoned shoe shop.
Watching as many others passed the man by without a second glance, you made the conscious decision to approach him.
Hey… everyone has been down on their luck, right?
Crouching down in front of him, you gave Clarence a soft smile before introducing yourself, pleasantly surprised when he returned the gesture.
Aside from a few weird comments, the homeless man seemed sweet… almost innocent; and so, you offered to take him to the nearby pizza place, assuming he would more than likely appreciate a good meal.
Though he was reluctant at first, Clarence soon accepted your proposal, graciously thanking you for your ‘extreme act of kindness’ before following you to the restaurant. You eyed him while he picked at your shared pepperoni and cheese pizza, laughing at the odd faces he made when he chewed.
“I do not understand what is so funny, [Y/N].” he stated with the tilt of his head. “…though, I must admit that your laugh is absolutely breathtaking.”

Sam:
If there was one thing you loved the most about Sam Winchester, it would have to be his compassionate spirit, and hopeful outlook for the world around him.
Sam had been dealt a bad hand during the 'game’ he called life… but he seldom let it show. He took pride in the things he accomplished, always tried his absolute hardest to keep the mood positive, and somehow managed to make even the worst of hunts an enjoyable experience.
…in fact, you could still clearly remember your first hunt at Sam’s side.
At the time, you were still a rookie… never having worked on a case that could be considered 'difficult’. You were in over your head, believing you could defend a young couple from the nest of vampires that they had accidentally stumbled upon.
Needless to say, you had been very wrong.
However, Sam didn’t make any demeaning comments… hell, he didn’t even blame you for the outcome of that hunt. Instead, he drove you to the nearest Gas-N-Sip, choosing to buy a large ICEE for you to share.
“I know that you really wanted to save them, [Y/N].” Sam soothed, the frozen, blue syrup staining his lips. “But to be honest…” he continued, watching as you sucked on the red straw. “…I’m so glad that you were the one to make it out of there alive.”
