Day 5 continued:
It took around 5 seconds for everything to go downhill.
Of course, Lance was greeted with Hagger's purple face the moment he woke up, so the day had already started relatively terrible.
But then, she noticed that Blue was missing, and that a certain paladin was just found sleeping under an open window, that certainly was not open before.
Lance had never been more stupid.(although Keith would disagree, Lance's stupidity has been apparent on many occasions.)
Naturally Hagger blew up.(quite literally as she has crazy weird magic that makes her seem like even more of a psychopath)
"Look, human scum. I have been relatively nice to you-"
Lance snorted.
"I thought we could get along just fine-"
Lance let out a short laugh.
"And here you go destroying all my hard work! You thought what we were doing to you before was bad, then it's about to get a whole lot worse."
Unfortunately, Lances laughing fit seemed to have ended.

Getting out from his 'cage' should have been a happy occasion.
It wasn't.
Hagger had abruptly dragged him halfway across the prison ship into a room with less decoration then his last. This one was completely bare all except for a small metal chair, and you guessed it, no windows.
You mean to say they downgraded his cage? Isn't that like, against his prisoners rights or something?
"Sit." Came the witches command.
Lance didn't move. Partly to be defiant, partly because he was so weak, he probably didn't have enough strength.
Hagger let out a huff of annoyance before summoning her weird voodoo magic to sit him (rather forcefully) onto the previously mentioned metal chair.
"I'll be leaving you to the General then, young paladin- do enjoy." With a final cackle, the witch finally left Lance.
And that's when the next Galra alien came in.
Oh joy.

You may be thinking- hey, Lance. You survived Hagger's magical beatings! This General guy should be a piece of cake.
However, you are incorrect. Let's name a few key characteristics about this General guy-
1. He's about 2 feet taller then Lance.
2. He's about 2 times more muscular than Lance.
3. He was generally (ha get it) better than Lance in every way.
So, a piece of cake? No way.

Straps came and tied around Lance's wrists- effectively leaving him unable to move.
The General looked at him with his customary ugly smile, before full on punching Lance in the face.
Lance screamed- he couldn't help it. The force of the punch had been so powerful, the blood (he preferred to keep that inside his body) was now oozing from his probably broken nose. Fantastic.
But the General wasn't done. He continued to punch him. Again and again until Lance's face was beaten and bruised, blood streaming from his nose and mouth.
Lance could barely move in his weak state, and the General took this to his advantage as Lance was suddenly released from his restraints, causing him to fall face first on the ground- which didn't help with the whole 'pain' thing.
And still, the General was not done. This time Lance felt a blow to his stomach, and Lance was 99% sure he should be dead just from the force of it.
One after the other, the General sent more kicks to Lance's body- which was surprisingly still in one piece, although he doubted it would be for long.
The General continued to beat him for what felt like hours before Lance finally passed out from the pain.

Unconsciousness was not much better then reality.
No, there was no dreams of him or his teammates dying- instead he dreamed of home.
"I miss him so much."
A Spanish woman stood in front of a framed photograph of Lance- the one taken when he got his letter of acceptance into Garrison.
Next to the picture was a news article- one that was covered with dirt and tear stains, the headline being:
Three Students Confirmed Dead at Galaxy Garrison.
Below the headline was 3 pictures- of Lance, Pidge, and Hunk.
"Mom?" A soft voice rang out suddenly and the image switched to show a little girl, around 7 years old.
"Is Lance gonna be home for Christmas this year?" She asked sweetly, a wide smile spread across her features.
The woman frowned for a second, a single tear making its way from her eye. She wiped it away quickly- and smiled at the little girl.
"I-I don't think Lance will be able to make it this year."
The little girl shrunk. "Oh. Okay. I miss him." She said quietly.
"Yeah." The woman began. "Yeah, I m-miss him too."
