chapter 5 Hope

Suzaku POV

After my lovely wife has a cute and painful way of affection. We talk about the possibility of someone planning the attack.

"I know it can't Schnizel he still under that geass to serve Zero. Plus out of the people I know that would use W-0 base is the higher-ups in the EE.UU military. Since we refuse to allow them to use the Japanese as bait. I don't remember the guy's name that Leila trusted the most out of everyone. He is the highest in command and would take advantage of the hopes of many people. If only if can remember his name." She said as she laid her head on my lap.

"Hey we'll be there in a few hours so try to relax until then. Unless you to spend some passionate time with me." Saying that I got hit with a pillow.

"Down boy be more focused on our job. Plus you don't know who passes our door. I rather wait than get caught in the middle of it. For now, we can just kiss and cuddle." She said as she kiss me which I gladly accepted.

"Fine, I'll wait and control myself." She smiled at my choice and kissed me again.

"That's my handsome husband that I know. When we go back I'll make sure to give you all my attention okay." She said as hugged me.

"Alright, let's just sleep for now."

Leila POV

Looking at the stars I began to worry if leaving was the right choice. Yet no one has yet to know who we are thanks to these elderly women.

"Couldn't sleep, Leila?" I looked back and saw Akito coming.

"Yeah, things aren't that good for us. What about you? You couldn't sleep either?" He sat beside me and looked at the stars.

"I was but I saw you walking around. So followed you here. Do you think she'll find us before that man does?" He said as I looked back at the stars.

"I have faith she will and so does everyone else. We need to believe in them."

"I wonder if she's changed. We haven't seen her since she got married. She even got transferred to work closer to her husband." He said as I lean on his shoulder.

"Knowing her she's probably the same but she does know how to surprise everyone."

C.C POV

I can feel her coming closer now. It'll be a matter of time before we'll see each other again. The geass I have her will fade soon as well.

"She's close isn't she?" Lelouch asked as I now.

"Who's close dad?" Our son asked.

"One of your father's family members. Well more knights if you ask me."He rubbed his eyes and came into our bed.

"Can we meet them one day? Dad's family?" He asked.

"Soon you will meet them for now go to sleep." And like that he went back to sleep.

"It won't be long until we're safe again," Lelouch said as he covered our son with a blanket.

Your POV

You tried to remember the guy's name but it was hard since you never saw the guy a lot. You closed your eyes and blamed yourself for all the stress you get from overworking.

"Your wondering who's after C.C." You open your eyes to find no one around. The light went out and you search for the flashlight or anything to help you see.

"Am I imagining things?" You looked around and saw no one and try to turn the lights on. The switch was working but the lights never came on.

"You know someone is after the code." The voice said you turn around and see a girl. You almost confused her for C.C for her appearance.

"I'm sorry for being rude but who are and how did you get in here?" Looking closely she resembled C.C. only her hair and eye color are different and even her skin color.

"None of that is important other than finding the codes. The man you consider your brother and that woman you see as a friend. They're being tracked down as well as the others. That geass you have that has yet to leave you is the key. They will know when your close and your geass will lead you to them. I'm here to help you along the way as well. As the caretaker of spacetime." She said.

"What do you mean that my geass will lead me to them? Is it like a tracker of some kind?"

"You were given that geass until peace was restored. At the moment when it has, it will vanish. Yet it has not and you never used it at all. The geass you posses will lead you to them as well to something else." She said as you seem to get what she was talking about now. You never even thought about the geass since you never used it.

"So if I find who's after the code and eliminate them. Things will go back to peace right?" You asked as she nodded.

"Alright, I'll do it. I don't want my son going through what we've gone through. He doesn't deserve that no one does." You said as she smiled.

"I see the love you have for your family is what keeps you fighting. I must say you truly are an amazing human. I'm must take my leave but we'll talk again." She said as she disappeared. The light came back on and the door open.

"Mommy can you tell me a story of daddy being an idiot," Rolo said as he hugged your leg.

"Of course, my little knight how about the time he and your uncle had to chase a cat and he got bitten in the end." He smiled as Suzaku seem to sigh from how he was back then.

"Hey, mommy did you ever beat daddy up?" He asked.

"Oh, you have no idea when your daddy lied to me I have him a very important lesson. Right daddy?" You said ad he blushed.

"Rolo never make your mother angry at all. Listen to her at all times." Suzaku said as his blushed seemed to go a darker red.

"Is daddy alright?"

"Yes, daddy is just being more serious about his job."

'Oh, this is going to be fun torturing him.' You thought as you saw how Suzaku seem a little excited.
