chapter 3 Clues

Your POV

After talking to Nunnally about the possibility of Leila and everyone else being alive. She approved of her four knights to go and make a full investigation. She even got permission to search the castle and files about everyone. The only thing is you couldn't leave your son alone at home. Let alone with Nunnally since she'll be busy. Not even your uncle for the sake to keep your husband's identity a secret. So you ended up taking him with both of you and his uncle Gino and aunt Kallen.

"Uncle Gino!" Rolo ran to them as soon as he saw them.

"Hey, their little guy you've grown up a bit," Gino said as Rolo smiled.

"Rolo sure loves being with Gino a lot," Suzaku said as he felt a little sad about his son loving Gino more than him.

"Jealous darling." You said as he seem to be taken back.

"Me no I'm not jealous that our son loves Gino more than his dad. I'm just really happy." He said as he put on a fake smile.

"If your lying to me then you can sleep on your own I don't mind sleeping with Rolo." He looked back and panicked at the thought of you being somewhere else to sleep.

"I'm sorry I wasn't lying." He said as Gino came to see the commotion.

"Why is Suzaku getting jealous of me you should be happy. At least I didn't take your wife when we were in school together." Gino said as Kallen hit him in the head.

"Gino even back then you had no chance with me. After all, I wasn't a fan of the Britainnia military." You said as Rolo went to hug you.

"Mommy I'm getting kinda hungry can we eat something please." He said as you grab and carry him.

"Honestly your father is a hopeless man to even feed his son. Maybe that's why you love uncle Gino more than him." You winked at Rolo as he laugh.

"Yep"

"Hey, I have fed him you're putting him against me aren't you," Suzaku said as he began to follow you.

Kallen POV

"Honestly he's so easy to tease," I said as they left to feed Rolo. I can't believe after all this time he could have gotten a bit better at hiding his jealousy.

"Well, that's Suzaku for ya. If it involves his wife he's bound to get jealous. Or in this case, he's jealous that his son rather has me as a dad than him." Gino said as I smiled at him.

"Okay, we should gather all information on what happened W-0 base. Even if the place hasn't been touched over the last few days they should at least leave a clue there." I said as I looked at all the files of every last W-0 member. Mostly girls and a few men were left they killed the supporting crew like cooks and janitors who worked for the money. Everyone else was killed due to the war against Britainnia military rebels.

"Hey wasn't Leila last name Malcal?" Gino asked.

"Yeah, why do you ask?" He handed me her file and saw that she had a different name.

"Huh, that's strange?"

Your POV

"Zero you sure have an adorable son he seems to resemble you the most. Since he doesn't like his mother at all. He only has his mother's eyes." Miss Cecil said as she pulled his cheeks.

"Well, I guess you can say that he does resemble his dad more than me." You said. The only people that know of Zeros true identity are the W-0 base, the empress, Gino, Kallen, me, and Rolo.

"Daddy isn't he the one they called the earl of pudding. The one that hides the food she makes under the stairs?" Rolo asked.

"Earl of pudding?" You and Suzaku asked as Rolo ate his sandwich.

"I like him already," Rakshata said as she petted his head.

"Would you be kind enough to tell him that's not my name?" Lloyd said as he hold back his anger from Rakshata. Kallen came in with a file in her hand.

"Hey (F/n) Did you know about this," Kallen asked as she gave me Leila's file only thing is that her last name was wrong.

"I didn't know. I knew she was adopted to the Malcal family after her parents died. But I didn't know she was related to the Breisgau family." You began to look into her file and see what else you didn't know.

C.C POV

"Hey, Lelouch do think this is a good idea. Leaving that castle's safe grounds to hide with these women." I asked as covered my hair with the scarf they gave me.

"Don't worry I remember from one of her books the ingredients that gypsies use. I left the list in a place only she would know where I would stuff in." He said as fixed his glasses.

"Still she had that geass I lent her until she finds us the geass will react to where I am. So it won't take her long to find out where we are. It's only a matter of time." We looked at everyone who manage to escape the attack mostly everyone escape bit not everyone made it out. We have a few new faces during our time in hiding.

"Hey C.C do you know where he is?" Lelouch asked as I pointed where Yukiya was.

"Check with mister explosive over there you know how he likes to play with those three." He nodded and went to see him.

"You seem bored like always." The oldest gypsies said as she saw me. She knew what we were.

"No, I'm just waiting for those knights to come. It won't be long until they arrive on these lands." I said as she smiled.

"You know they're still after you and that guy. But yet they do not know the child of yours. It's best to keep it like that way." She said as she went in to sit in her rocking chair.

'It's true geass shouldn't be given to humans but a few are an exception. In order to stop evil from spreading we need the family of knights. They may be the only way to stop all of this once and for all.'
