chapter 28 The New Era of Peace

Akito POV

As everyone mange to arrest all the people that were involve. The EE.UU mange to contact the empress after receiving information about what has happen. So right now they are negotiating a solution to this problem and how to avoid it from happening ever again.

"Akito let's head back to base." Gino said as I sigh.

"Understood."

Suzaku POV

When I reach the base I see them being taken away. Yet I could see Schneizel smiling at the same time.

"Well Zero I'm impressed that you have a loyal and devoted wife. Yet does she know the whole truth of your reason for marrying her? To be her replacement of your first love. That be terrible of you to do that on a woman." He said as grab my sword and pointed it near his neck.

"She is not a replacement for anyone it's the other way around. No one would be able to replace my wife not in this era or the next. (F/n) is one of a kind that no one not even her can match up against." I said as he smirked.

"Really even if she was carrying your child?" He said as I flinched. Before I could answer he got punched right in the face. It was so strong that it knocked out a tooth and draw some blood. I looked to see who punched him and see it was (F/n) which explains since her punches are strong. Especially her right hook she mange to knock off a few teeth from a thug when she was in high school. When he fell down and hold where she hit she looked clam.

"Listen and listen closely our past means nothing it can't be changed. The future can't be predicted but the present is what matters right now. You may use the past to drive us to hatred but you'll be having a hard time moving forward. I learn to make peace with my past and focus on the present. Everyone here has accepted the past but now look at us now our strength comes from what we've seen. You may use all the lies and past events against us but to us it means nothing now. So shut your mouth or next time I'll make sure to knock out all your teeth." She said as the guards grab him and drag him away. When they could no longer be seen she turn towards tap my shoulder.

"Come on let's head home I'm sure Rolo wants to have that picnic soon. Plus I to have a nice relaxing bath tonight." She said as I looked at her confused.

'Normal she like to relax with a shower but when she wants a bath she usually asks me to join..... wait a minute that also means she wants to cuddle!'

"Hey get your mind out of the clouds or no dinner for you." She said as she brought me back to earth.

"Right so what do want to eat tonight?"

"I don't know you pick."

Time skip

When arrive to guest house where we stay at the palace Rolo came in running along with with Romeo. C.C was watching them since everyone was a bit busy and she the only one free.

"Mommy daddy did you guys win?" Rolo asked as my princess smiled.

"Of course and now you can celebrate your dad decided what were going to eat." She said as I remove my mask and place it on the counter.

"Well in truth I don't know what shouled we eat."

"I think I solve that problem a bit early." C.C said as we looked at each other.

Your POV

You got a bit nervous trying to figure what kind of food she would have made. You just hope it was pizza at least that's the only food you knew that she was actually good at making. You walk towards the dining room you see the food.

"No way!!!" You said shocked to see a spread.

'Lelouch you big fat liar!' You thought since Lelouch only warn you about her cooking being terrible to look and eat.

"Well I had a little help." She said as the both boys smiled.

"Please tell me they didn't help you." I asked as she blushed.

"No not them by someone else." I got a bit nervous when I heard someone at the door.

"Zero might me busy you know." I heard kallen.

"You might be right after all he has that hot wife of his too." I heard and last time I remembered someone saying that was from Tamaki one of the original black knight. Suzaku got his mask on and walked towards the door and open it. There he saw Kallen and a few members of the black knight.

"Hey sorry to disturb you when you just got back but these guys wanted to see you before they head back home." Kallen said as some guy came and hugged him like they were old friends.

"Zero it's been so long since we last saw you. If your ever need a drink come to my bar and I'll make sure you have a great time." He said as you got annoyed by what he said.

"Oh hello I didn't see you there ma'am. I'm an old friend of Zero we go back a long time."

"I know I was one of zeros informants." I said as he froze.

"Don't tell me you forgot she was Zero most trusted members that he let her see his face. Honestly you should get that head of yours checked." Kallen said as she hit his head.

"I actually don't remember her at all." He said which cause Kallen to face plam.

"Either way it's nice to see that your both still alive and safe." Ohgi said as bowed to us.

"Please don't bow to us were not anyone special. Were the same as you were all fight for peace." Zero said as you stood beside him.

"Well I'm sure you want to spend some family time together so I'll escorte them out. I'll see you guys soon." Kallen said as she guided the the guys out.

'Well at least they haven't changed much.'
