chapter 13 Chess games

Your POV

The flight back home you were ready to take a nap. But hearing your son calling for you every time you were gone. Then theirs Suzaku who couldn't help but keep holding you close especially when you cooked.

'Seriously how did I ended up in this situation.'

"I see you been busy lately. Must be hard being a mother a wife and a knight." I looked up and see space time leaning on a rail.

"Oh it's nice to see you again. How have you been since we last saw each other?"

"I've been well but I'm not here for small chat. I came here to warn you about that person. The person your looking for that told the old man about them he's inside that palace. He also knows something that no one else should know other than you, the knights, and that girl in the wheelchair."

"I see can you tell me his name by any chance?" I asked as she walked to the window.

"Well let's say you already know him and he's close by where you are. I don't know his name better yet I didn't bother to find out."

"You almost sound like C.C either way thank you for the warning. You're  helping us a lot with the information you have given us."

"I'm only doing this to maintain order of this world. I don't need another repeat of events after this." She said you smiled at her comment.

"Yeah I know but still thank you for everything."

"I must take my leave now. I'll come when I need to tell you something again." She said as disappears and time went on again.

"So now let's see what be their next move."

Suzaku POV

We finally arrive back to the homeland. After days of not having some alone time with my princess we can finally have our time togethere. Maybe we could have a picnic under moonlight.

"Dad?" I look down to see Rolo sad.

"What's wrong? Do you feel sick or are you hungry or did you get hurt?"

"Can we play togethere." He said as we looked at me.

"Sure what do you want to play you choose."

"Chess." I froze since I was never good at it, but my princess was good at it because of Lelouch.

"Sure let's play."

'Someone help me!!!!'

Time skip

Lelouch POV

I was playing chess with my son while C.C looked to see who would win. Every move my son would do I would already have something plan.

"Woah that's really amazing your really good Romeo." (F/n) said as Romeo maintain focus.

"He got this from his dad but he still not good." C.C said as we kept playing.

"Ah looks like you guys are still playing." I heard Suzaku say as I look up to see him and his son come.

"Mommy guess what? Daddy is going to play chess with me." Rolo said as she smile.

"That's awesome and I know you can beat your dad. He's not exactly the best player to go against." I said as I moved my queen to take down Romeo's queen.

"Awwww no fair I was about beat you with my queen." He whined as I smile.

"Yes I know now what will you do?" He began to think as (F/n) began to whisper something to him.

"Ah your right I never notice that!" I look confused until I saw him move his bishop and caught my king.

"I win!" He said as I was in shock.

"Hey (F/n) how did you know about the blind spot?" She smiled as put a finger over her lips.

"It's a seceret now then Rolo do want play chess with daddy." She said as Suzaku began to blush. I got up and stood next to him.

"Suzaku you really are unable to control yourself. Even I'm more controlled with my needs." I receive a hit in my head and I knew exactly who did it.

"Really why did you do that."

"It's something to talk about with adults not when children are around."

"Right I get it. Your still punch hard what do you do lift 200 pounds?"

"No I do boxing."

"Attention we will be landing shortly."

"Well then shall we start the match or can I save myself from embarrassment."

"Really Suzaku are you scared to lose against Rolo? Even though everyone knows your not good as this game you should at least know the basics." He sighs as the chess pieces were placed how it was before.

Time skip

Your POV

As you watch your two boys play you could tell Rolo was really think his next moves and wasn't l backing down. Even against his own father who isn't an expert at the game try to match up to him.

"I guess he's still hasn't figured out that his kings open." Lelouch whispered next to you as hold in your giggles.

"And that's checkmate daddy. So I win!" Rolo said as everyone to hold back their laughter of Suzaku's defeat.

"I guess your mom taught you well I think a little too well." Suzaku said as Rolo went to hug you.

"Mommy I did good right?"

"Yes you did even better than I expected maybe Lelouch can teach you more I still haven't beaten him yet. He's more of an expert at the game."

"Really? Can he teach me more?" He asked curiously. You looked at him and smiled.

"Sure thing just tell me what you want to know." Rolo went to him as Suzaku fix the chess board for them.

"Seems that he will be getting along with him." C.C said as you nodded.

'Now that we're close I need to find the mastermind. I'm pretty sure I'm that person is nearby.'
