Chapter 6: Sensei

"My name is Suzuki Tanaka and I will be your homeroom and science teacher for this school year! I hope we get along!"

T-this is not what I planned things to turn out. I'm suppose to forget him and finish school and get a job and marry and have kids. My soul's about to come out of my body. I am possibly cursed down to my last breath.

Lunch bell ring

"I'll see you tomorrow everyone!"

"Well, see you later, hothead." This maggot is annoying.

I placed the things on my table under my desk and got my bento out. Me and Rina planned to, at least, see each other during lunch break. There's an area in the campus where no student ever go to. The secret cottage. It's behind the gloomy looking forest behind our school. It used to be the resting place for some elites but the forest which you pass through to get there got really thick that stories and myths were created. Apparently, no one cared to ask the janitor about it except Marina(she is friends with almost everyone in the campus). The janitor said they were all made up by the director of the school. It all actually started with an idiot who failed to comply the requirements to graduate and was asked to plant trees behind the school so the idiot, too, can march on stage. Unfortunately, this idiot was so stupid that actual grown trees were planted instead of young ones. The stories and myths were made up by the Director of the school because of the number of students who cut classes and hide in the forest. Only me and Marina go there now.

"Sensei, is it true that you're an alumni here?"

"Do you have a girlfriend, sensei?"

"I am and no, I am currently focused on my work."

"Sensei.."

"Sensei!"

Ah, right I'm still in the classroom. I better hurry to the cottage. That girl's stomach is an impatient bear when she's hungry.

"Ah! Misaka!"

Please do not call me so familiarly at school. I don't want to get indecent ideas from everyone around me.

"Y-yes, sensei?"

"Can I see you after school? I'd like to discuss something with you."

"O-okay, sensei."

"Heyy, no fair sensei! I want to stay with you after school too!"

"Me, too, sensei!"

"Me, too!"

Don't cause a commotion and just walk straight out of the classroom, Misaka. My feet started to speed up and before I knew it, I was already running away. Embarrassed? I guess I was. I actually k-kissed our homeroom teacher, after all. No! Forget that. Forget that thing that happened. It was an accident. The ghost of air pushed me. That's what really happened.

My sigh was so deep it could dive the depths of the pacific ocean.

"Why am I so unlucky?"

As I passed through the forest, I could see Rina smiling to the side. She shifted her attention towards me as she waved her arm.

"MISAKA!"

Ah. Her presence never fail to complete my day. When I got closer a figure of some person started to appear. I couldn't tell who since his back was all that I could see. When I finally got out of the forest the guy turned around only to shock me from where I stood.

"HOTHEAD!"

"why are you here? Rina, why is this here?"

"I kinda bumped into him which made him let go of his lunch. I-I was hoping we could all share your lunch since it's always so many. Don't worry! I'll share my share with him so Misa can have the same share she eats everytime!"
