"I'm still not sure about why we need to be cafe handlers when we're supposed to save the world", Juliet groans.

"Even I'm not aware about that but Ms. Morgan pays quite handsomely so I didn't argue", Archie shrugs.

"Handsomely? He's undoubtedly a nerd", Riley chuckles.

"Being good with vocabulary is not considered being a nerd, just so you know", I argue. I don't know why but ever since I have talked to Archie I just feel like protecting him. I got no romantic intentions guys, don't worry. It's just that he's too sweet for Riley and gang.

"Says nerd number two" Riley scoffs.

"Good to see y'all on time. Let's get to work without wasting any time." Ms. Morgan interrupts me before I can tell him anything. I swear to God I had a comeback which would shut this cocky ass' nasty mouth but I couldn't deliver it!

Ms. Morgan hands us all an apron each with the 'DINO CAFE' logo on it and also gives us our schedules. The aprons match all our energem colors and I'm not even surprised because Ms. Morgan takes this stuff way too seriously. Ms. Morgan explains all the duties and then leaves.

I have cashier duty today which is totally unsuitable for me because math is not my forte and there is no calculator here. I just hope I don't mess up because I have no plans whatsoever of getting on Ms. Morgan's bad side.

The cafe's flooded with people and there is only a single cash counter. Splendid! HOW AM I GONNA HANDLE SO MUCH MATH ALL ALONE?!

"One espresso and two swiss cheese croissants" An old woman orders while I was in the process of discovering how to make bills. I smile while nodding my head and type in the contents while the system automatically does the calculations for me and a bill pops out. Ah, this is actually easy.

"That'll be seven dollars" I politely tell her. After she has paid, I stamp the bill and give it to her while she takes a seat. So this is how it goes. It's pretty smooth and I don't even have much of work.

While I'm in the midst of taking the thirtieth order for the day, my dino com buzzes but I ignore it and type in the order that a guy is giving me.

"It amounts to AAAAOOOO FUCK-" I yelp removing the dino com out of my pocket because I just got a current-like vibration.

The entire cafe is looking in my direction and thinking God knows what about me. Blake and Luke who have serving duties are red from the laughter that they are holding back while Riley, who also has serving duty is smirking with his eyebrows raised. Even Archie, Romeo and Blair stop filling the coffee mugs beside me and gape at me.

"Blair, handle the cashier for me, I gotta go," I tell her pointing at the dino com. She immediately comes to the cashier but doesn't stop giving me curious looks. Without looking up, I sprint into the kitchen.
