Day 4

Ang boring. I shouldn't be like this 100 days lang ang meron ako. I need to help as many people as I can but where to start?

"Hi Des!" Out of nowhere Faith appeared

"Thank God you're here!! Di ko na alam gagawin ko!"

"I could use your help. Tara!" She just stood there and disappeared. What? Pano akong tutulong kung iniwan niya ko?

I waited like 5 minutes kung babalikan ako ni Faith but she didn't. lumabas nalang ako ng dorm and walked around still confused and not knowing what to do. Pumunta ako sa Church na malapit sa school

I closed my eyes as I bent on my knees.
"Lord. I don't know what your plan is. Di ko alam kung mabait ka lang talaga to give me another shot. Pero sure ako na hindi mo to ginagawa para sa iba. I'm no one special but you granted my wish for a second chance why? Sa lahat ng namatay bakit ako pa? Do I deserve any of this more than anyone?"

"Destiny. The irony of your name. I'm starting to think you are destined to be here in this very moment." I opened my eyes to see Faith standing beside me. Not considering her remarks I asked.

"Ano na gagawin natin? Bigla bigla kang nangiiwan!" Tumawa lang siya sa sinabi ko. Sure I can see the past and future pero di ko naman kaya manghula

"Yan mismo ang matutulong mo sakin. See that girl over there the one with the rosary?" I looked around and I saw her. I think nasa 20's na siya. Maiksi ang buhok at morena ang kutis

"What about her?"

"I need you to hold her hand and tell me kung ano ang makikita mo" how am I supposed to do that? Taimtim siyang nagdadasal bigla ko nalang siyang iistorbohin??

"Now na??" I asked hesitantly

"Yup." Tumayo ako not knowing what to do lumapit parin ako sakanya. Ano kaya meron sa babaeng to? Baka isa sa binabantayan ni Faith?

"Hi? I'm Des. Ikaw?" I lifted my hands for a handshake. Pero tinignan niya lang ako with a smile

"Althea." Great! now wala na kong ibang alam gawin to hold her hand

"Uhmm. Gusto mo ba ng hula? Magaling ako manghula!" Again nilahad ko nanaman ang kamay ko

"No thank you. I don't believe in such" luhh. Ang hirap naman nito. What to do Faith?!

"Kilala kita Des. You are very convincing. Kulitin mo"

"Sayang naman. I can see in your aura na maraming blessings ang dadating sayo ngayong taon" a little white lie wouldn't hurt right?

"Miss not to be rude pero Di mo alam ang sinasabi mo, I received nothing but heartaches and misfortunes lately" her emotions changed from being bubbly to dull. I wouldn't have guessed. Her smiles are so honest mukhang walang pinagdadaanan

"That is why you shouldn't assume someone is ok Des. There is a lot more than what they chose to show"

"Hey you know what I'm sure lahat naman tayo may pinagdadaanan no matter how hard it is we are all fighting with different demons. I will be completely honest with you. I know nothing about auras o hula na yan. I just want to be friends so.." for the third time binigay ko ulit ang kamay ko. And finally she gave me a her hand.

"Ok Destiny. Friends"

"James.. di ko kaya wag nalang"

"Lintek naman althea! Inumin mo nalang para matapos na! Masisira lang ang buhay nating dalawa pag tinuloy mo yan"

"Destiny? Ok ka lang?" I was completely shocked. I'm not even sure what I saw but what is clear to me is whoever James is he is forcing althea  to drink something.

"Gusto niyang ilaglag ni althea yung bata"

"Oh my god!"

"Destiny? Ok ka lang?" She asked. How could he! Wala ba siyang kunsensya??

"Truth?" Kumunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko pero itutuloy ko pa din. What if pumayag siya sa gusto ni James? Di ko kayang manahimik kung alam kong buhay ang nakataya.

"Althea, we are not exactly friends. Nakita lang kita ngayon. But here's what I know sa konting oras natin na magkasama makadiyos ka, masiyahin kang tao, madali kang magtiwala. I'm not in the place to say this but I will say it anyway. You are your own person, you can steer yourself any direction you choose. Wag mong hayaan masira ang values mo just because you made a mistake in the past. Make it right" as if on cue pumatak ang luha niya. Tinignan ko lang si Faith she smiled before she disappeared again. Ilang minutes din siyang umiiyak but after that ngumiti siya ulit.

"Siguro magaling ka talaga manghula. Naintimdihan mo ang situation ko ngayon. Can we remain friends?"

"Sure Althea"
