eunmi's pov
the next morning came. and it was a school holiday. and i was feeling really bored. so i decided to call hoseok. i think he should be up by now. it's already eleven in the morning.

i excitedly switched my phone on, and swiped it to the right. as i went to my contact. and quickly pressed in hoseok's numbers. yeah, i memorised his number. i thought that it was important. since he's an important person in my life now.

usually when i call him, he would take a few seconds to answer. but he took longer than usual today. heck, he didn't even answer. i called again. but this time, he answered.

"hello?" i quickly said. "hey eunmi." hoseok spoke raspiky. i frowned slightly. "did you just wake up?" i asked. "oh yeah, sorry." he apologized. and now, i was confused. he has never apologized so much. why does he keep apologizing?

"are you okay? you have been saying sorry since yesterday." i decided to ask. "yeah, everything is fine." he replied. i expected him to say something else, like he always did. but he just ended the conversation there.

i sighed. "did you get enough sleep?" i asked worriedly, remembering that he seemed off yesterday. "not really." he replied. and i felt my heart at relief. at least he was speaking the truth. "and why is that?" i asked.

i swear he was about to say something, but rather than words coming out. there was nothing coming out from his mouth. "hoseok." i said firmly.

"something came up at home yesterday." he finally spoke. i nodded, even though he wouldn't see.

then there was a silence. "hey." he spoke, breaking the silence. "yeah?" "are you free today?" he asked. "yeah of course." i replied. "wanna head to the amusement park?" he asked. "we're going there again?" "yeah. except let's not ride anything. let's go to the café there." even though i find this whole thing weird, but i agreed. since he said it will make him feel better.

"i'll pick you up soon." he said before hanging up the call. i sighed and got up from my bed. what's the point of going to the amusement park when we're not gonna ride any rides? oh well..

hoseok's pov
here we are, at the amusement park's café. i know it's weird. wasting your money just to go to the café in the amusement park. but i have my own reasons.

i quickly dragged eunmi into the café, without realizing my grip on her wrist was tight. until she shrugged my grip off her, and rubbed her wrist, frowning a little. "s-sorry!" i quickly apologized, and rubbed her wrist for her. and kissed her wrist after that. i looked at her to see her blushing. i smiled. seeing her like this always make me feel happy. she's my source of happiness now.

i looked around the café, not looking for an empty table. but for a specific table instead. no, i didn't book a reservation here. it was something else. then i remembered how she described it. 'the furthest table, next to the window..' i thought as i made my way there, sitting down.

luckily eunmi didn't find anything suspicious and sat opposite of me. as i was looking around the café, my thoughts were interrupted by eunmi. "hoseok! what do you want to drink?" she asked, clapping her hands like a child. "hmm.. anything you wanna drink." i winked, which made her blush. oh i love it when she blushes.

"alright. wait here. i'll go order the drinks." she informed, and i nodded. then she got up and walked to the cashier. which was luckily far away from our table. i could barely see the cashier from here.

just as when she wasn't at sight. i spotted a familiar face within the crowd. she smiled at me. she kept her promise, huh. i waved at her slightly, as she made her way towards me. then she took eunmi's seat.
