          "WHERE ARE YOU TWO GOING?"

Ellie questioned her brothers from her spot on the couch, flipping through the channels on the tv. She had work in a few hours and couldn't think of anything else to do to pass the time. Lip and Ian were dressed and ready to head out, but Ellie couldn't remember any plans they had.

"To tutor Karen." Lip mumbled, his eyes not meeting Ellie who gave him a look, her eyes rolling. Karen had a reputation of getting "excited" when it came to tutoring. She couldn't figure out why Lip couldn't just accept the fact that their little brother was gay. "Alright, we gotta go, love you, bye!"

Lip was quick to slam the door behind him, not needing Ellie to ruin his plan. He was going to prove to her that he wasn't gay, and that she was wrong. Ellie just shook her head and let out a sigh, her eyes returning to the tv.

Ellie stood in the florist, the same ugly apron tied around her body. The hunter green contrasted horribly against her purple long sleeve, her blonde hair resting against her shoulders in a tangled mess. Behind the counter was where she stood, her eyes inspecting the room she was in and all the different colored flowers.

Delia's Florist was rather dead at the moment, no one seeming to need flowers. All of sudden Sydney waltzed in from the back room, smoke flowing out of her mouth and a blunt wrapped in her fingers. Ellie's eyes widened, not expecting for Sydney -- a North Side girl -- to smoke weed, and especially not at work.

"Oh, hey Ellie!" Sydney exclaimed happily at seeing the girl. She had a smile on her face that was so big it looked like it hurt her cheeks. That was something Ellie realized quickly, Sydney was always in a happy mood and smiling, always positive. "Want a hit?"

Ellie looked around them carefully, anxiousness washing over her. She needed that job more than anything, and she really couldn't afford to get fired or end up in jail. Maybe it was a test that Sydney was being put up to do to see if the girl would take it. "Um.."

"Hey, it's just us. My mom is Delia, remember? She owns this place, nothing is gonna happen. We're dead, no one is coming in." Sydney said smiling softly at the blonde, handing the blunt to her again. Ellie let out a breath, taking the blunt and taking a hit, feeling herself relax as she blew the smoke out of her mouth, giggling.

Some time had passed and the girls were in the back room, high out of their mind when the front door opened, the jingling and alerting them of that. Both of their eyes widened, brown gazing into blue tinted with red as they quickly hid the weed, shoving the bong that Sydney had stashed in their into a nearby cabinet. "Just act natural," Sydney hissed as she cleared her throat, adjusted her apron and walked back into the florist area.
