Monday hit and it was time for my group English assignment. Ugh. I hate working as a group. English has always been my favourite subject and the thought of having to work as a group just annoys me. I always get people I barely know it's super awkward the first 3 days. We get like a week to finish and we spend half of it trying to get rid of the tension. I just wish that one year I could work alone but nope. I also have to work with 3 other people. And the worst part of all is I don't have any friends that I could possibly work with. I mean, there's Samantha but, I don't really know her too well. Then there's Adriana who starts WAY too much drama. And the last person I kind of know is Keegan who has a huge crush on Aria.
"Okay class listen up! Since there's 24 of you brats there will be six groups. Your project is, you must create a script that includes a love story. You will have to use 2 people from your group and 2 people from the older class and perform this skit. Good luck. Now listen for your name. First group is Samantha Edwards, Audrey Olsen, Louis Neal, and finally Adam Land. Our second group is Adriana Lucien, Maxwell Lowell, Sheila Thomas, and Antonio Tapp. The third group is Keegan Lonergan, Ella Mendoza, Tiffany Jones, and Carl Pennington. Our fourth group is Makayla Maos, Rita Rivera, Annie Crayton, and Blain Dill. Fifth group is Gordon Gunther, Donna Anderson, Karen Moran, and Ricky Chandler. And our final group is Zac Traynor, Richard Gillespie, Caslene Santos, and Carol Lewis. Now you know your groups don't forget them. I won't be saying them again. If you want your whole group may be in your play but, you must include 2 people from the older class. It must also be a love story. Time doesn't matter to me but, it has to be perfect. Spend the rest of class time getting to know your partners. You'll find out who the 2 older kids you will be working with next class. You've got 15 mins left. Spend it wisely. " Sometimes I hate it when Miss. Suggs talks. She's always so angry for no reason. And I've also got Carol and Zac. They're like that couple that is always together. I'm happy for them but sometimes they get on my last nerve.
"So with our fifteen minutes I say we introduce ourselves and say one thing about ourself." Richard says smiling. He's always so happy it's annoying. I swear this project is going to be a challenge. I also thought this class was English, not drama. I've got 2 weeks to complete this project with 3 people I barely like. This is going to be quite the challenge.
"I'll go first! So I'm Carol Martha Lewis. I've got 3 siblings. One is my older sister Suzanna who's 19. Then my 2 younger brothers. Stephan and Charles." Carol has that high pitched squeaky voice. She's sweet it's just her voice is higher then a mouse squeaking. But she has a voice like a goddess. It's insane!
"Since my little love bird went first I'll go second," see what I mean but the over dramatic couple. Don't believe me yet? Just wait. "I'm Zac Vincent Traynor. I'm an only child and extremely rich. Carol is the love of my life. And yah that's me!" Did you hear it? He said Carol is the love of my life! She's his first girlfriend! They've only been dating for 4 months!!!! Don't you think this is a little extreme? It's their lives not mine.
"I'll go next. I'm Caslene but I prefer to be called Cassie. Ive got 2 older brothers and they annoy me to death. So.... yeah. That's me. " I know what you're thinking. I know it's boring but I don't like talking about myself too much. I hate introductions and meeting new people is such a hassle in my opinion. I know it's weird but I'm boring when you first meet me.
"I guess I'm the last one. I'm Richard Gillespie. I've got a 12 year old sister named Natalie. I've got another younger sister who just turned 9. Her name is Olivia. " And finally we were done introductions. We had about 5 mins left so we just started planning out times we should meet. We all agreed that we should meet Wednesday after we figure out which grade 11s we got. We've already decided that we're all going to be playing a part. We think it's just best if we do it that way.
