Renee Adams, was known as a loyal, kind-hearted, intelligent, beautiful, soul. She screamed 'Good Girl' that's because that's who she was. She didn't have a bad bone in her. She was always smiling, a big toothy grin. She was gorgeous.

Little did we know...

After being fought over as a child by her courageous father, and drug addict mother. After being swept away by her mother to another country. After feeling like she was the mother in their relationship - If you could even call it a relationship. After so many nights of being struck with unfathomable luck. She smiled.

She smiles like a teen on crack. No scars. No tears. Only the toothy grin of a smile.

Her beauty was recognized by many. Too naive to see the difference between fake and real friends, she had no one. No one but the bark of the dogs she went to school with. Well... That was until a special someone came in.

Mike Conner,

was known as an unfaithful, rich, arrogant, jock. Not just any jock, but the Jock. You know the one that parades himself around school with a circus of clowns clinging to him- I mean self-derogatory cheap whores. Not much better.

He was the definition of 'cool', nothing was more important to him than his varsity jersey and back number. He was never seen with the same girl more than three times, never in the unholy world did we ever think he would have a soft spot.

Yes, that little soft spot was founded in his pea sized heart, for none other than Miss. Renee Adams, on one rainy day. The thing is, will that spot stay hers as he uncovers the baggage of her overly complicated life?
