54. The History of Apocalix

It was the year 2024 when a terminal illness devasted humankind, killing nearly 60 percent of the world's population. Insomnia, excessive bleeding through the eyes, vomiting, and paranoia sent the world into chaos. Wars began, governments fell and with them so did society.

Eighteen years later, Amelia Hale lives safe and secure in the Hale Refugee Camp, a place far and secluded in the depths of the forest. Born in the very year the disease started, Amelia has never been outside the fences of the camp. Ignorant to the dangers this new, disease-ridden planet holds, she insists on going outside, to the city. Will this desire for adventure end her life in bloody insanity?
