80. Enlightened

Zachary's an ordinary teen going to a regular high school. At least, he thinks so, until he finds out he's not. Now he's going to have to live in a world he doesn't understand, he doesn't think is safe, and he knows is discriminatory.

He doesn't know any of the rules, but he knows breaking them can come at a cost that few are willing to pay. At least he doesn't have to navigate this mysterious world alone. He has his best friend Lauren, a halfblood fae, to help him learn the ropes.

Now, he just has to decide if he can live a secret life--One that includes: black market magic, underground criminal creatures, deadly weapons, and finally conscription to a corrupt magic council--all because he and the other members of his school were unfortunate enough to be born...Halfbloods
