Taeko x Ayano [Part 1]

Rejected. After all she has done. She was rejected.

Ayano sat down on the floor, her knees up to her chest. She was crying after her Senpai rejected her.

"I'm sorry, but I don't feel the same way."

The words of her Senpai broke her heart and her happiness. The world that was once filled with color, was now black-and-white.

"Umm... Anooo... Miss, are you okay?" The voice of a young-adult rang across Ayano's ears. Due to her instincts, her head immediately jolted up. Her vision was blurry for a moment but became clear when she wiped her tears away. In front of her was a girl with long black hair that fell to her waists, her looks were very familiar, but Ayano couldn't just set a finger on it.

"Yes... I... I am fine." Ayano managed to say in between her sobs. She began to wipe away her tears using the back of her palm. The girl, who was worried-sick, held her hand out.

"Here, let me help you up." The girl said softly. Ayano, with hesitation, held the girls hand. The girl lightly pulled her up until Ayano stood up with balance. The situation was oh-too-familiar for Ayano, like it happened before.

"My name is Taeko Yamada, nice to meet you!" Ayano's eyes widened after hearing Taeko's introduction.

Taeko Yamada? Taeko Yamada... Taeko Yamada... Taro Yamada... TARO YAMADA! Ayano internally screamed. Who was this girl? The genderbent of her previous senpai?

"Ta... Taro Yamada?" Ayano shyly asked, she didn't know why, but light pink dust started to creep up her pale cheeks.

"Oh! Taro is my brother! He is the one who wanted to meet me here." Taeko responded, smiling at Ayano. Little did she know, Taro was just helping out his twin sister.

"Onii, I need help." Taeko said, entering her twin brother's room. Taro, who was sitting on his desk, turned around and smiled.

"Whatever is it that you need?" He asked. The twins were really supportive and kind to each other, which was rare nowadays.

"I like this girl, but I don't think she really likes me." Taeko confessed, fiddling with her fingers. Taro chuckled.

"Of course I'll help you. Who's the lucky girl?" He asked. Taeko blushed a tiny bit before answering.

"Ayano Aishi."
